Chapter 10: Letter

"Joon Hyung do you think my letter got lost?" You asked Namjoon.

It's been almost a week since the letter has been sent and there was still no reply. This made you worried that it could have possibly not been sent to your family.

"I'm sure your parents got the letter Y/N, maybe they just sent it today, or maybe it was just sent yesterday..." he replied with a little shrug.

"Do you think their letter got lost then?" You said looking up at Namjoon.

"I don't think that would happen..." Namjoon replied

You pouted, worrying a little more about your parents' letter not arriving fast enough.

"Don't worry Y/N, it will get here soon!" He said rubbing your back.

*"I'm heading to the office, today's the audition for the... Y/N? What's wrong with her Namjoon?" Seokjin asked curious why you were pouting and feeling gloomy today.

*"She's worried that her family didn't get the letter... It's to tell them that we have her and that she's alright." Namjoon explained

*"Ohh, I see... I think it would take about a week all in all, it might be here soon..." He replied, sitting down next to you and giving you a pat on the head. "Do not worry okay?" He told you giving you a smile.

You smiled back, yet you were still a little  worried about the letter.

*"Alright I gotta head out, I'll see you guys later!" He said getting up and out the door

"Bye bye Y/N!" He said giving you a little wave goodbye.

"Bye Jinnie Hyung..." You said waving back.

"See you later, hyung!" Namjoon said.

A few minutes after Seokjin left, Hoseok came home carrying  a bunch of mail.

*"I got the mail!" Hobi said as he entered the dorm.

*"Alright... Yoongi hyung's.... Namjoon here's your's, Seokjin hyung.... mine..." Hoseok said checking who each mail belongs too.

"What about mine Hobi Hyung?" You asked hoping to not be disappointed with no letter this time.

"Uhhh..." Hobi said still checking the rest of the mail.

"Oh! Y/N... Letter!" He said handing you the letter making you jump up and down with excitement.

"Yayyy! Finally!!" You said taking the letter from Hobi's hand

"I told it would come didn't I?" Namjoon said patting your head.

"Thanks Joon hyung and Hobi hyung!" You said giving them both a big smile.

You opened to the envelope and revealed what's inside. It contained the letter of course, contact information so that you and the boys can get in easier contact with them through phone or email instead of sending letters, social media account, and a check that would later be explained in the letter.

You then opened up the letter and started to read what it said with Namjoon.

The letter:

Dear Mr. Namjoon Kim,
           Thank you for taking in and taking care of our daughter... We've been worried sick trying to look everywhere for her. We didn't know if she'd gotten into a different plane and is stuck somewhere else in the world. We're really grateful that she's able to stay there with you. We're not sure when we're able to come back to Korea since we are short on finances. We only saved up for our first ever vacation to go to Korea, but once we save up some money either her father or I myself will come and get her. We will try to send some money for her expenses and such. For now, there's a little check included in the envelope to start. We've included our contact information as well as social media account so we can get in contact. Again thank you for taking care of our daughter. We are truly grateful.
...As for my daughter, my dear Y/N...
We miss you so much, your sister has been looking for you and would cry since she can't find you. We'll be there soon and take you home... For now, stay with Mr. Kim and don't cause any trouble alright? Be a good girl...
We miss you and we love you so much Y/N, Take care...

As you read the letter, tears started to form and fall from your eyes. You wanted to be home with your family but it might take a while for you parents to come get you.

Namjoon bent down to wipe your tears away, while Hobi rubbed your back trying to comfort you. They then both engulfed you in a hug, making you cry a little more.

"Everything will be alright, Y/N... They will come for you sooner than you think..." Namjoon said in comforting words. "We'll take good care of you, don't worry..."
