My ears throbbed, on and off it went. I walked in the middle of everyone gathered around me. They were talking, I wasn't, I didn't want to talk to anyone right now. My life has changed, my whole life. I would soon have to find a mate, start a family, and forget evrything that I ever wanted to happen to me. I was often asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. My answer was what ever makes me happy. But what makes me happy? They asked me that too, and I simply responded,"Maybe when I grow up all I want is love. Maybe I want to be a professional dancer. I can't tell you, not now anyway." I said that every, single, time. I still wonder what will make me happy.

I snap out of my thoaghts when I here my name being called. I turn to a packmate. "Yes?" I say calmly looking at him. He has dirty blond hair, hazel eyes, and a slight tan. But it's hard to tell really what he looks like when shadows of tree limbs kept passing across his face.

"Um, I'm Aspen. Er, was it, scary?" He asks me awkwardly putting a hand behind his neck. I could here to crunching of his boots and his black fitted tee raised a little. I shake my head.

"No, it kind of helps when you can't really hear everything people are saying." I answer him as he walked beside me and then I realized how tall her was, probaly a good five centemeters. I bite my lip and look forward aftr he nods.

"I'm sorry I'm acting awkward, It's just weird seeing that quiet girl that never really spoke at any of the meetings actually become one of our leaderes. I just want t talk to you." He stutters looking at me and smiled softly, I turn my neck to face him and looked away awkwardly mumbling a 'Oh'

"I like your tattoo and what it symblizes." He adds, I blush deeply considering I don't even remember getting the stupid thing. But hey, that's one thing off of my bucket list.

"Thanks, what do you think it symbolizes?" I ask him looking for what he thinks like yet I already know what it symbolizes.

"Well the wolf itself is quite obvious, this life and just changing into a wolf, it's, great. The yellow eyes on wolves are often knows as alph or omega, but yellow or gold often gives out a magical feel. The mist symbolizes what everyone wants, and what everyone wants sometimes has to come down like mist or fog. Your just trying to get through it all to where you want to be." He explains and I look at him and give a true smile. He laughs lightly.

"I'm into the arts." He adds explaining how in the world he came up with all of that.

I nod at the male impressed all the way. "I'm starting to belive you just came over to woo me." I say nudging him lightly and a faint blush came across his nose and cheeks. He smiles and looks down.

"Maybe I did." He answers looing at me sheeplishly. I laugh softly and looked at where we were going bumping into the person infront of me, my face bouncing off of their back. I started to lose my balance when Aspen reached behind me and his large hands grabbed my waist, steadying me. "Thanks." U mumble and he nods a deeper blush going across his cheeks.

"What's the hold up?" I ask everyone, I squeeze between people, Aspen following behind and that's when I stopped short. I coaght my breath harshly, I swallowed the ball in my throaght. I knew what was going to happen, a war. A small war, yet big enough to cause maybe a large friction and maybe

deadly wounds.

Another pack, Taylor's pack. His eyes search mine, I stand there staing at him and he looks at me like he's worried. But it's hard to belive what he really thinks, even if I try to read his mind. Asoen grabs my shoulder. "Are you ok? You seem tense." He whispers in my ear and I nod slightly at his question. But I secretly knew that I wasn't.
