Amanda’s P.O.V.

It was well past 12 in the midnight. I was so pleased with how everything had turned out at Blake Scott’s. Except, i had forgotten to wear that damn blonde wig that Mr. Hughes had given me.

Oh well, I will just wear it next visit.

I was up for a drink.

Just one and then I can drive back home into my warm bed, I thought.

I parked my car in front of “Midnight Daze” the local bar that everyone knew so well. Except for me. I wasn’t the one to come to these places because I was always so focused on my work.  I made my way to the back of the bar, where a lonely man sat giving his back view. He had curly brown hair, and he looked quite lean and muscular. I took a seat next to him and motioned for the waitress to come and get me a drink. I suddenly felt the man turn his head slightly, and he smirked at me. He had dazzling green eyes. He chuckled at me gawking at him, and I quickly closed my mouth.

Who was this guy?

Harry’s P.O.V.

I sat staring into the face of a young girl, perhaps 18 or so. She looked lovely, with her long brown waves and big brown eyes. Her cute little lips open wide.

I wonder what a girl like her would be doing here.

“Having a good time, love?” I asked as she had her mouth hung a bit open as she stared at my eyes. She quickly composed herself and cleared her throat. She looked away shyly.

I could have a little fun, I thought.

Amanda’s P.O.V.

He had just asked me a question. Don’t just sit there Amanda, speak! I looked back at him and smiled.

“Of course, I am, and what about you?” I asked with a slight smile.

“Not as much as you,” he chuckled. “By the way, my name is Patrick,” he said, sticking his hand out for me to shake. I took his hand and damn, it was big and warm.

This guy seemed like a player. Maybe I could have a little fun with him.

“Oh, and I’m Daniela,” I said releasing his hand. He looked at me and nodded his head.

“You sure don’t look like one,” he stated with a cute smirk. I laughed a little. “And you sure don’t look like a Patrick to me either,” I said back. Smart ass comeback Amanda.

“Oh, but it is, my grandma convinced my mom to give me that awful name!” he said making a face and laughing. His laugh was contagious and I laughed along with him. The waitress came with my drink and handed me it. I thanked her and she walked away, eyeing Patrick and I.

I looked at my watch and saw it well past 1 am. Wow, time sure passes by fast here with Patrick, I thought. I stood up ready to leave.

“Oh, you are like, leaving so soon?” Patrick asked with wide eyes. I smiled up at him.

“Yes I am. I need some sleep, I gotta work tomorrow,” I replied.

“Oh yeah, I’ve got work but who cares? A little fun is always good,” he said raising his fourth beer to his lips.

“I gotta go Patrick,” I said, “but it sure was nice meeting you.” He stood up and faced me. God, he was tall. He gave me a goofy smile and stuck his hand out for me.

“It was nice meeting you too, Daniela,” he said with a slight grin. I shook it and started walking away, before I heard his voice again.

“Do you come by often?” he shouted and I almost couldn’t hear him.

“Sorry, I don’t,” I replied just as loud because of the music. He looked back at me and said, “You should though,” while looking tipsy. I just shook my head and looked down smiling. “Goodbye, flirty Patrick,” I said to him, and he just smirked his signature smirk. I turned around and walked back to my car, wondering if I would see this guy ever again.
