Sweden's POV
I entered the kitchen to say bye to Timo, my wife, and Peter, our son (well we got him from E-Bay).
I walked up to Finland who stood at the kitchen counter and chopped cucumbers, he didn't seem to notice me and just hummed to the ABBA song on the radio, which was unusual, since he was normally listening to Death Metal.
I put my hand on his waist and gave him a peck on his temple. He was startled for a second but then lay down the knife on the counter and put his hand on my hand on his waist."What was that for, Mr. Sweden?" he asked in surprise.
"I'm going dr'nking with Denmark, Norway and Can'da, we haven't seen him in a long time."
"Who is Canada?"
"Practically m' son from the Viking Times" I answered. Finland turned to me and looked at me a bit concerned, knowing exactly I didn't exactly like to remember that time.
Then he let out a small sigh and smiled up at me.
"Don't get drunk, Berwald""'f course not, s'meone has to drive Magnus and Lukas home" I said and kissed his forehead, getting a small "urks" sound from Peter who still sat behind us.
"Rakastan sinua"
"Jag älskar dig"
I took my hand away from Fin's waist and went out of the kitchen, messing up Peter's hair while passing him.
Before I left I patted our small dog Hanatamago's head.
When I arrived at Denmark's and Norway's house they already stood waiting at their door with Canada, Norway still talking to Iceland who had to stay home since he was too young to drink.
They shut the door and came towards me, Denmark, or Magnus, already looking extremely excited, actually like a kid before their birthday."God dag" I said, trying to smile, which was kinda hard for me.
"Hallo Sverige" Norway answered while smacking the back of Magnus' head.
He protested a bit and pouted but I chose to ignore it and turned to Canada instead who smiled at me fluffily, if it wasn't possible to smile fluffily, it was from now on.
"Long time no see, eh?" he asked with his small, soft voice.
"I guess so, Matthew"
The smalltalk got interrupted by Denmark who put his arms around each our shoulders.
"So are we goin' or what" he grinned at us.I glared a bit at his impatience, but that's just how he was.
Canada looked a bit excited but also shy, he hadn't met us in a long time after all. Lukas smiled a bit, Magnus had his usual bright smile on. Interesting was also that I could've sworn that I just saw Iceland and a dark haired boy closing the curtains. I'd better not tell Norway or Denmark.I turned to my car and looked at the other men.
"So l't's go, I'll dr've" I said waving them to me.
We got into the car and drove downtown, we were in Norway in case you were wondering, so we drove to Oslo as I heard a certain Dane from the backseat screaming "Let's go to Norway City" (A/N please get the joke oh boi). Matthew, who let his pet Kumajirou at home, giggled at the comment while Lukas, who sat next to my driver's seat, sighed and looked a bit like he was considering jumping right out of the moving car. Maybe I should have had concerns about him but I knew he actually loved Magnus and his stupidity so I didn't spent another thought on this.
We arrived at approximately 10pm and after a short walk we got to the bar. "Til de stinkende Kråkeføtter" was painted in bright red letters on the black sign over the entrance of the small-looking inn, Matt and I could've easily reached the sign with our hands since we were the tallest. And that's right, it didn't actually look like a bar as we had expected but rather an inn or a tavern, but what do they say?
Don't judge a book by it's cover. I didn't know the tavern, Norway and Denmark had chosen the place but I didn't mind and Canada didn't seem to either. Right before we entered Norway turned to us reassuring: "Don't worry, the name and the look are just a disguise." Canada looked a bit confused, of course he hadn't realized that the name was very weird, he didn't speak any Nordic language after all, but everything was forgotten when we finally entered the so innocent and normal-looking pub.Magnus pushed the swinging door open so I had to catch it when I actually realized what we just entered.
We had entered a night club with a few poles with male and way fewer female strippers. Sure, nothing too hardcore but it just wasn't what I had expected, I wanted to turn around and leave, but Norway had already pushed Matthew and me inside.
"I told you, we picked the place and of course we want to have some fun" Lukas said almost with a smirk on his face.
Almost.I glared at him, then at Magnus, then back at him.
"Y' know I'm m'rried" I said in a slightly shocked but hard tone.
"Yea so what, Berwald?" Denmark answered "You don't have to join the show, Norgay probably won't either. Just let Mattie have his fun, it's kind of a reunion, right? Don't ruin it, c'mon."
He was right, I didn't need to join in and look at the strippers anyway, but I still had to stay sober to drive them home. I was basically here to babysit, how annoying. So basically what happened after that was that Magnus dragged (the still shy) Matthew to a place where they could see the strippers better while Lukas and I sat at the bar. He assured me that he'd drive so I could at least have a little fun. I thanked him and ordered some fancy colourful cocktaol with a name way too long and a way too high amount of alcohol, but at least it had a nice little cherry in it.
Norway told me that he was ok with this whole strip club thing once in a while because he knew Denmark would never ever cheat on him, just as it was with me and Timo.
After a while I was so drunk the only bigger thing I remember was that I saw Denmark forcing Norway to drink something, so that was it about our drive home. From then on I only had a few strips of memories but I magically awakened in a sleeping bag in Norway's basement at like 1pm on the next day. When I found the others nobody knew what the hell had happened to Matthew because he wasn't around anywhere in the house and he didn't answer his phone either.
For some reason Iceland looked like he wanted to hide something, there was a hickey on his neck and you could hear some weird language coming from Ice's room dimmed, maybe... Cantonese? Mandarin?
I didn't tell Norway and Denmark since they would flip out but they seemed to not notice it with their big headaches.
I still wondered where Mattie was though...~×~×~
✨Author's note and translations✨
Thank you for reading the prologue of my first story on Wattpad! Wow, over 1200 words only in the prologue, but the next chapters probably won't be this long, I fear, but I'm trying x3
Also this point of view was only a thing for the prologue, the rest will probably be from Canada's or Prussia's point of view.
And I know that the cover picture is inaccurate because Prussia looks bigger than Canada which is not true, of course. This probably won't get many reads anyways because the Fandom isn't that active anymore, unfortunately, but I'm trying to help bringing it back :D
Anyways let's see the transitions:
Rakastan sinua (Finnish) - I love you
Jag älskar dig (Swedish) - I love you
God dag (Swedish) - Good day
Sverige (Norwegian) - Sweden
Til de stinkende Kråkeføtter (Norwegian) - To the stinking crow's feet
I used Google translate for these because I couldn't find a better translator for these lingos. Also when I say "Norwegian" I'm not sure what exact language I'm talking about so that's the most accurate I can get, sorry.
I swear the other author's notes won't be this long, I'm sorry for this.Anyways bye, see you soon!
