"Work? ...With the man who broke into my home, and attacked my subordinates. Simply because you said some honeyed words about me?" Dracula said calmly but if his face was anything to go by he was more than a little pissed off. "Yes exactly..." Yamadel said as if he wasn't staring at the most powerful man on the planet- second only to himself of course. Dracula's scowl only deepened when faced with Yamadel's brazenness. And yet he couldn't bring himself to strike him down right here right now. Looking at him made him nauseous and it took a significant amount of effort to give his chair the cold shoulder. His smile seemed like it wasn't there instead just a black abyss that wailed like screams through an empty cave. Did the wailing just start or had the abyss always been there staring not at him but into him? Did Yamadel even have a mouth in the first place? Dracula didn't know. "Oh come now you know far better than I that the way you're going about it-you'll die much sooner than the humans. And I don't know if that would be a death befitting an immortal such as you... Don't... you... Think?" Yamadel asked his smile practically melting off of his face. Dracula didn't realize he was talking until it was too late "Don't... Think..." he whispered almost silently "We will converse in solitude to determine your role within my war council. Until then a room will be prepared for you... What?" Dracula finished although he could barely comprehend what just happened. Yamadel performed a deep bow before dragging Hector and Isaac toward him. Once in his possession, he left.
As he walked down the halls he bent down to ear level with two humans "Where is your medical bay?" he asked. Isaac must not have heard because he had tried and failed to stab Yamadel again "What have...done to Lord..." Isaac said his speech broken and breathless. Yamadel had to assume that he was asking what he did to Dracula and would have answered if it weren't for the other one "Where are you taking us?!" He all but yelled. Clearly, he was taking this very hard even if he was the last person who needed to worry. Yamadel sighed "I am taking this one," referring to Isaac who was teetering on the edge of consciousness "to wherever it is you heal your people's wounds. Then I'm taking you." he said ominously "Now if the next words out of your mouth aren't directions then I'll leave your friend to bleed out on the floor." after a degree of silence hector answered "Down the hall to the left," he said, "Thank you." Yamadel returned.
A pale white-haired woman sat in an extravagant horse-drawn carriage "We should be reaching the castle within seven days, my lady." Said the driver from under an awning built into the carriage. The woman however looked bored with the information. While she understood the importance of what she was doing it didn't exactly leave her excited but she wouldn't complain. She would tweak the plan just a little. The unknown man "The Moon" was it? She had heard of a man that fit his description, tall, with long dark hair, and the ability to suck the life out of people with just a touch. She had no idea why he was calling himself that but it mattered little. What was more important was why Kars wanted Dracula's army. And how she was going to give it to him.
When I came here it was, for one thing, the human, Hector instead I have been indoctrinated into Dracula's army unable to leave for near on seven whole days. Dracula has seen fit to place me in my own room under the condition that I am constantly monitored by guards placed in and outside. Said room is situated as far from the main entrance as possible and has no windows to speak of. All this to say it's my fault, all of it. Why did I think it was a good idea to make Dracula think I was there because I heard of his mythical status as vampire king. "Sometimes I'm a real dumbass," Yamadel says as he's finished dressing. He had just been informed by one of the guards that Dracula had called for a strategic gathering of sorts. So it was expected of the one who has been chosen to enact any decision made by the forgemasters to be present.
Entering the main hall that seemed to feel so hazardous just a week ago. He felt the eyes of the other generals follow him. They hadn't gotten used to him quite yet but that didn't matter to him. He didn't plan on staying long anyway. Finding a pillar far removed from the judging looks of his peers he sat down and waited just like the rest for Dracula to arrive. "Civil Debate" that's what this was supposed to be "civil" only lasted five minutes after Dracula arrived now it had devolved into feverish arguing over the best way to kill as many people as possible but failing to ask how the hell they were even going to do that. As far as war councils go he was impressed. Dracula tried to get some order but his voice didn't carry enough for anybody to care. At the height of Dracula's growing anger where it seemed like he was about to jump down and give the walls a new coat of paint. The doors swung open and the click of high heels drew everyone's attention. The foot soldiers parted to reveal a ghostly pale woman in a red and black dress with stark white hair and watery blue eyes. All that together made her the most vampiric-looking vampire Yamadel had ever seen save for the pretty blue eyes. It seemed she was known by all present as most looked at her with what could be seen as fear as she walked by but yamadel knew that it was more caution than fear. Nonetheless, she ignored their gaze in favor of meeting Yamadels. Not even he could deduce the thoughts behind the look she gave him only that it left him curious to find out more about this woman who barged into Dracula's castle with about as much caution as a baby on a tightrope. She continued until she was in front of everyone and bowed "I am Carmilla." she introduced "I have come from far Styria to join the war council." Dracula sat down annoyed "Your presence was requested some time ago, Carmilla of Styria." He said with a subtle edge. She had always been a bit insubordinate but blatantly ignoring a summons order was unheard of. Even godbrand comes when he's called "Indeed, but your mighty castle-keep moves around." she said before she scanned the room "And with such mighty vampire generals advising you and prosecuting your war what use could you have a mere regional ruler." An obvious lie but a good one enough truth to understand and enough honey to make her absence feel insignificant. It didn't stop Dracula's eyes from narrowing when she continued though "And yet, my lord your forces were repelled from a single city-state." she said looking back at her fellow generals and Yamadel "Your generals are in disarray, so I feel that perhaps it time to offer my insights to your great cause." She finished.
