Many years ago our hero Yamadel, in his search for kars found one of his labs in Mexico. While exploring it he found what looked to be a tomb. In the middle, he found a pillar with the imprint of what he could guess was one of the surviving pillar men but sadly didn't find the man himself. But it was what was around the imprint that interested him. There along the shaft of the pillar were stone masks around the imprint there were masks all over the walls of the tomb now that he looked closer. He walked to one of the masks that lined the wall and slowly held out his hand to touch it, each second that passed he could feel a familiar pull almost as if it was calling to him. His hand finally reached the mask and when it did he could swear he heard a woman's voice "Oh my, look how you've grown..." she said as he grabbed the mask. All of a sudden he let out a breath he didn't know he was holding, he grabbed his head trying to recall what just happened "what was that?" he muttered to himself, he couldn't remember even grabbing the mask. After a second's contemplation he got his bearings and put the mask in a satchel he had, he explored the rest of the tomb and found a passageway that led to a room with many papers and books lying around. In the middle of the room was a desk with what looked like more masks but they looked different from the ones in the tomb
(A/N: Ignore the Aja pls)
He started looking over the papers, he noticed some were diagrams and some explained the biology of the pillar men. As he was looking at these papers a notebook caught his eye, when he opened it explained in detail how to use the stone masks "When the masks are exposed to the blood of a living thing spines will shoot out and pierce the brain of the wearer, activating the full potential of his or her body and giving them a unique ability like fire or wind, but it's not perfect there's still more to be uncovered. I will achieve perfection, I will become the ultimate lifeform and conquer the sun." After reading that yamadel took out the mask from his satchel and bit his finger and let a few drops of blood go on the mask. A moment later, spines shot out and after a few seconds, they went back. Yamadel looked at the mask "Activating my full potential? Hm..." he knew what he needed to do, he lifted the mask to his face and with his still bleeding finger slowly swiped the forehead of the mask... A sudden light lit up the room, it looked like the sun was right in front of him. But as fast as it came it went and darkness filled the room again, a clatter sounded as the mask hit the floor next to Yamadels unconscious body. His eyes shot open in a panic, he tried to get up but his head felt like it was just stabbed by dull knives and his body ached like never before. After another try he gets up slowly, using the desk as support. After some time to gain his strength back. He bends down to grab the mask, then he remembered what happened the first time he went to grab the mask. Wondering if that would happen again he grabbed the mask and paused waiting for a reaction but nothing happened, so he began to inspect the to see if it changed. But stopped when he felt his eyes begin to hurt so badly he grabbed his face in agony. The pain was so much his legs bucked and he fell to his knees. White viscous liquid started flowing from his eyes and onto the floor as he screamed in pain" Take unto you the presence of the moon so that you may cast your ethereal light upon those who dare face you, for that is my will. You have grown into a fine young man... my son." A deep but soft voice announced but yamadel couldn't move it was like his body had fallen asleep as soon as talked. All he could do was think but he was finding that hard 's-son? What is this guy talking about' yamadel thought before the voice continued."I can not tell you how to use this power as it is yours now, but I will tell you its history, my history. My name was flora but mortals usually called me the moon presence or Paleblood, I was a great one, a being beyond your perception of reality. I don't remember why but I created a prison called the hunter's dream and bound a man named Gehrman to it for a time." It explained 'my father is dead, and certainly not a god does this voice think I'm stupid? I swear if he doesn't undo whatever he's done to me I'll-I'll... Why does he sound like my father?!' yamadel was starting to believe that maybe this voice was his father. It sounded exactly like him, he talked like him but it couldn't be he was dead. "My plan was for him to guide hunters to kill the other great ones. For a while, my plan was coming along smoothly until one hunter managed to kill Gehrman and freed him from the dream. I tried to trap the new hunter but he was for some reason he was immune to my power. So we fought... And I lost but I managed to save myself by using the last of my power to replace the soul of a creature not yet formed. It just so happened to be part of the pillar man race." The voice said but Yamadel was getting more and more confused, he tried to talk but came out in a horrible stutter "L-et... Me g-o" he stuttered, the voice chuckled softly but then sighed "I apologize but I don't have much time now but... I wanted to say one last thing before I go for good... Your mother and I love you so so much and we're going to miss you my little "dell". Yamadels eyes widened at what the voice said as he could move again, what it just said was his nickname Yamadels father called him that all the time when he was young, not even his closest friends knew that. That's when he truly realized, the voice really was his father " god... damn it, dad, always leaving before I can say goodbye." he said a little choked up
I love you too, mom... dad... goodbye
