"A THREE-VEHICLE accident near the Intersection EDSA/ Quezon Ave leaves 6 dead . . . One is Juan Galang which is the Senate President and the other one is Cardo Vergara, a member of the Congress."

The Deputy Director paused the news and looked at us. "So, you're telling me that someone reported this beforehand?" He asked.

"We received an e-mail a day before the accident happened," sabi ko at binigay ang envelope na naglalaman ng contents ng e-mail.

"Have you traced the IP Address?"

"Yes but it leads to different places at the same time." I answered.

"Hindi ko kaagad nareport kay Eros dahil akala ko isa na naman itong prank," sabi ni Aubrey alias Astraea.

"Pumunta kami kahapon sa hospital at nalaman namin na tugma ang isinalaysay sa e-mail at ang nangyari kahapon. The drivers were paid to cause an accident," sabi ni Sawyer alias Apollo.

"And it also says in the e-mail that potassium chloride will be injected into their veins and they will die due to cardiac arrest. And according to the autopsy result, they died because of heart attack," pagpapaliwanag ni Adler alias Damon.

"And we also interviewed 4 nurses and a doctor. Sabi ng Doktor, she and her team woke up in her office. It's odd because they remembered treating Vergara, at sabi ng isang nurse, pinaalis siya ng isang Doktor." Sabi ni Rowan alias Calliope.

"We found out later on na hindi Doktor sa ospital ang nagpaalis sa kanya," sabi ni Cassidy alias Dike.

"Pinuntahan ko ang control room at sabi ng nagbabantay, may maintenance na nangyari noong araw na iyon, kaya hindi gumagana ang CCTV," I said.

The Deputy Director sighed.

"Sir, all evidences lead to murder," I said and looked at him.

Albemar Jones has been the Deputy Director of the Intelligence Services for almost 10 years and he has been my mentor since the day I set foot in the academy. The NBI is divided into 8 services – Administrative, Financial, Investigation, Intelligence, Forensic Investigation, Regional Operations, Legal, and Information and Communication Technology. My team, which is the Criminal Investigation Division, is under the Intelligence services. I go by the alias Eros and I am the Chief of this division.

"I'll get back to you after reporting this to the Director. For the meantime, check the bank accounts of those drivers na namatay sa aksidente and if may malaking pera silang natanggap, trace it. Check also their profiles," he said at lumabas na sa office.

I looked at my team members. "Ano pa ang napansin niyo sa ospital kahapon?" I asked.

"The hospital is too crowded," Calliope answered.

"I didn't see any suspicious movement," Apollo said.

"Astraea, paano inilarawan ng nurse ang Doktor na nagpaalis sa kanya?" I asked.

"May kasama itong isang nurse na kulay itim ang buhok. Yung doctor naman ay nakatali ang buhok pero ang hindi niya makakalimutan ay ang kulay ng mata nito. Yellow na parang maliwanag." Astraea said.

"Amber eyes?" Dike asked.

Amber eyes? I know someone who also has amber eyes, ngunit wala na sya rito. Pero sandali, I saw a pair of amber eyes yesterday. I closed my eyes at pinilit kong inaalala ang nangyari kahapon. May nabangga akong doctor kahapon, ngunit maikli ang kanyang buhok. Hmm, I wonder . . . If they did not leave any traces in the hospital, they must have left it somewhere.

"May nakita akong babae kahapon with the same eye color. Ngunit hindi nakatali ang kanyang buhok. Maikli ito." I said. "Damon, check the doctors in that hospital, find out kung sinu-sino ang may maiikling buhok. Dike samahan mo sya. Calliope and Astraea, kayo ang mag-check sa identity ng mga drivers. Apollo, pumunta tayo sa nearest dump site sa ospital na iyon."

FLEUR

All agents except the new recruits are gathered here in A4. Naghihintay kami sa anunsyo ni Mistress Emilia. I looked around and saw Hyacinth. Nabalitaan kong kakarating lang nila ni Azalea. Napansin kong may kakaiba sa kanyang kinikilos, na para bang hindi siya mapakali. Kumunot ang noo ko at napagdesisyunan kong puntahan sya. Ngunit bago pa ako maglakad patungo sa kanya, nakarating na si Mistress Emilia kasama si Acacia. Tiningnan ko ulit si Hyacinth at napansin kong kinakalma niya na ang kanyang sarili.

"Agents," pagsisimula ni Mistress Emilia.

Umayos kaming lahat at nagsimulang makinig sa kanyang sasabihin.

"Yesterday was the start of a new beginning. Some say that guns are powerful than knives and some say knives are powerful than guns. I do not believe any of those because you know what's more powerful? This organization. We will dominate the world but we cannot do that unless the mole in our organization is killed," aniya.

Because of what we heard, my fellow agents started to whisper.

"Silence!" Pagpapatahimik ni Mistress sa amin.

"Yesterday, someone warned the NBI about the accident. We still haven't figured out who, but once we find out, expect a stab in the heart. Dismiss," she said at umalis na.

I immediately walked towards Hyacinth.

"Did you do it?" I confronted her.

Hindi siya nagulat na alam ko, it's like she expected this to happen. Nanatili syang walang imik.

"Why?" I whispered in an accusing tone.

Nagsimula na syang maglakad paalis ngunit hinawakan ko ang kanyang kamay. She turned to me.

"I did what I have to do, Fleur. I have no time to explain but just bear this in mind. What if the truth you believe is not true at all?"

"What the hell are you saying?"

Naghihintay ako ng sagot nang biglang lumapit sa amin si Azalea. Azalea has a cute face and a curly hair. She smiled at us.

"Let's go, Hyacinth," she said. "I'm sorry to interrupt you, pero ngayon kasi kami aalis ni Hyacinth para sa bagong misyon."

I just nodded at binitawan ang kamay ni Hyacinth.

"I'll be expecting an explanation after your mission, Hyacintch," I said but she just turned her back at me and walked away.
