After the Giant War I strictly told Percy to go back to Goode. When he asked my why I told him it was because he needed education and for him to not look suspicious. Honestly, I made those reasons on the spot when he asked me. Well, the education one was real, but seriously Annabeth, to not look suspicious? He didn't have any mortal friends except for Rachel. But she was the oracle!
The real reason I told my seaweed brain to go to Goode is because I was going to attend Goode as well! I wanted to surprise him but after that stupid reason he was probably going to figure out sooner or later.

Beep, beep, beep. I hate this stupid alarm clock! I was in the middle of a very good dream. I know it's weird, I, a demigod, had no nightmares but a good dream! It was me and Percy living happily ever after in the city near Camp Jupiter. We sat there watching our friends. Jason and Piper were having a picnic, Frank was a dog and was playing Fetch with Hazel, Leo was showing Calypso his new update he added to Festus. I hope that we all survive and maybe this could happen in the future. Thinking of that, I almost fell asleep again. Beep, beep, beep. Ugh, the alarm clock! I tried to shut it off but instead a made it beep louder. Beep, beep, beep!
"Annabeth! Shut that dam thing off before you wake the boys!" My stepmom yelled from across the room.
"That's if you already hadn't woken them by screaming." I muttered. I stood up and turned it off. I was already wide awake so I started to get ready.
"Hey guys! Good morning." I greeted as I walked down the stairs. My stepmom nodded. She and the boys were driving me to Goode today since my dad was busy at a meeting. I grabbed an apple and took a few bites before throwing it in the green bin.
You're wondering why only a few bites of an apple? When me and Percy fell into Tar- the pit, we were forced to eat fire. Yes fire. That totally messed up our stomachs so now we can't eat normal mortal food.
"You didn't finish your apple, miss." Helen commented, not even looking up from her phone. I rolled my eyes.
"I'm sorry," I said blankly. Every morning she says the same thing. I've already told them about the thing but she refuses to listen.
"Ahhhh help!" I heard two voices scream. I took out my dagger and got into a fighting stance. But I saw my stepbrothers with their heads stuck in the stair railing. They looked at me and my dagger terrified.
"Annabeth! Put that down!" My stepmom shrieked.
"Sorry, it's a habit and instinct, I'm used to-"
But she was already trying to get her baby boys' heads un-stuck, not even listening. I put my dagger down and came over to help them. How did they even get their heads stuck there?
After about 20 minutes I told my stepmom that ai was going to grab a drink. There heads were really stuck in there, huh. As I was sipping from a bottle of water I checked the clock. I spit out my water.
"Oh Styx!" I cursed. We were already 10 minutes late. "We gotta go! Can we just leave the boys? We'll be quick, they can survive being alone in the house with their heads stuck in a railing! Let's go!" I exclaimed trying to drag my Helen out the door and to our driveway. She turned to me and glared.
"My Baby boys' heads are stuck in a staircase railing! As their mother I will stay here and help until they are safely unstuck!?" She cried. I rolled my eyes.
"Figures," I mumbled to myself.

"Wise girl?" Percy said looking at me in awe. I could literally see his face light up.
"Hey Seaweed Brain." I replied. We stared at each other's eyes for what felt like hours. I missed his lopsided grin and his beautiful sea green eyes.
"Oh of course!" The Greek teacher cut in, ruining the moment, "You're probably his girlfriend aren't you." She said. The class stared at me. Well this was awkward. I felt the red creep onto my face.
"Uh, well, actually," I stuttered a little embarrassed.
"Whatever, just sit down." Mrs. Todds ordered. I sat down in a free seat next to Percy. "Ok, back to our lesson. Hera was the queen of the Gods!" I rolled my eyes.
"Ugh Hera." I thought. The class went silent and looked at me. "Sorry did I think out loud?" I asked, everyone still staring at me strangely. Percy chuckled.
"Excuse me?" Mrs. Todds asked.
"Wise Girl you were talking in Ancient Greek." Percy said in Greek as well.
Oh.
"But I totally agree! Hera sucks." Percy said. The teacher gave up and continued with the lesson.
Me and Percy didn't listen because she was talking about Hera, and well, Hera. We just stared at each other. The teacher didn't care enough to stop us from not listening. I guess Percy had already gotten on her nerves before she arrived. That Seaweed brain.
My Seaweed Brain.
