Just another day

Feeling a firm nudge on her left shoulder hazel woke from her slumber. "You have three seconds to give a good excuse as to why waking me the why woke me up" Hazel groans in a raspy morning voice. Hearing a chuckle which she quickly recognised to be her twin brother Danny. " School" he simply says opening her curtain letting a burst of morning sun light in.

"Ahhhhh" she screeches covering her eyes with her blanket. "WHY YOU DO THAT" She screams at him attempting to use the pillow as a shield from the sun so she could see once again. As her eye sight restored she sat up and looked at her phone.

She froze in her place as she saw the time. It was 7:28am on a monday morning it took ten minutes to get to school and she had to be there by 7:40am. "HOLY FRICKEN CHEESE CAKE" She threw her phone ran as fast as she could towards her wardrobe and grabbed the first top she saw and some black leggings. Her top was a black milk cream coloured long sleeved top that was loose. Wile she tried pulled her top over her head hopped around pulling on her white converse but her being the clumsy she is she fell. Flat on her face.

"Ouch" she groaned and slid her other shoe on as well as a grey beanie and ran down stairs bag and phone in hand. She glanced at the clock in the kitchen and was she was only four minutes . Shoving a piece of toast in her mouth that Danny left out for her and ran outside jumping into Dannys car where he waited to drive to school.

"Took you long enough" Danny complains. "Ohh did it really" she replies, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Well if you woke me earlier maybe we wouldn't be so late huh."
Rolling his eyes he mutters a whatever drove in silence.

"Seya later haz" Danny stepped out of the car with his bag and closing the door.
"Bye cally" hazel say running to class. She only had one minute to get there.

As she ran threw the fairly empty hall of cause she ran into someone and just to make things worse it was mr popular him self Louis Greenday. "Watch it loser" he said with an annoyed tone in his voice. " Ey it ain't all my fault you take up so much room its pretty hard not to bump into you" she says bluntly and stormed of to her locker.

As she was getting what she will need for first period the the bell rung. she was late. Panicking she ran as fast as she could to class but to add to her bad luck when she dot there the teacher gave her detention. She had never gotten detention before so she was scared but she just ignored the urge to slap someone and just did her work.

Class went surprisingly quick. It was lunch time and boy was she happy about that.
"Hazie! Were were you this morning?" Her best friend and well only friend Michael Clifford. He was pretty much the only joy in her life, he was the smile one her face. Even though he was only her best friend she still loved him. She wasn't IN love with him she only saw him as a brother.

"Slept in. Danny woke me up at 7:28 so really i was early since i took four minutes to get ready" she explained proudly. "But obviously miss. Tupper disagrees" hazel adds to her previous comment showing her detention slip.

"HOLY FUCKING BUTTER CUP" he exclaims high fiving her.
"How did you do it." He was very confused and to be honest she was too. I mean seriously she wasn't the girly-girl type but it took her half hour on a good day.

"So hows life been without me?" She asks with a dash of sarcasm. "Amazing!" He announces which meant he something happened. "WHAT HAPPENED? WHO DIED? DID SOMEONE HOOK UP? HURRY UP ARE YOU GONNA TELL MEH OR WHAT?" She yells making Michael bust out in laughter. "O-okay, okay ill tell you" he tried saying but still laughing it kind of came out like "okeeeekkeee iteelllllllll yaaaaaaaya." God i love him.
