WROOOAAARRR

"Dammit! I thought I put you to bed already!" I shouted towards the monster. I was lucky enough to find more AR ammunition and grenade launcher shells. I took a step back before shooting Dr. Birkin down with my rifle.

'This must tickle him... guess I have to use something stronger.' I let out inwardly. I switched to the grenade launcher and looked for any weaknesses. 'That eye in the middle should do it.' I noted and waited for the opening.

'It's eating the train... let's just hope that it's bad for it.' I inwardly joked and shot a shell to the eye. It roared in pain as I emptied the launcher and inserted another shell.

'Three grenades left, Y/N.' I reminded myself. "C'mon! Show those beautiful fangs of yours!" I shouted at it. I shot another as it roared in pain again. I reloaded another grenade.

"Open wide!" I shouted again and shot the shell. It groaned in pain again. 'Geez... how many does it need?!' I inwardly let out annoyed. 'Guess I have to switch to the gift I received.' I told myself. I dropped my rifle and grabbed the rocket launcher.

I aimed it at the monster and waited for the right time.

.

.

.

'An opening!' I shouted to myself and pulled the trigger. As soon as the monster was hit, it squealed and roared in pain. I dropped onto my knees as I avoided a sweep attack.

I looked around the car and saw that it ripped off the train car's roof. The train car jerked to the side as I tumbled to the corresponding side. "Y/N!" Leon shouted after me.

The car jerked to the other side as I rolled over. "Leon! find the connector and detach it!" I shouted after him. "I'm already on it!" Leon replied. I regained my balance and clutched on a pointed metal pipe.

I looked up at the monster as it was already in my face. Speedily, I jabbed the pipe into its eyes. It roared in pain as I continued to push the pipe deeper into the monster's eye.

"You like that don't you? Too bad for you there are no seconds!" I shouted at it. I pulled the pipe out as the same yellow liquid spewed out. Leon then pulled me off the released car and held onto me.

We all watch as the monster and the car get caught in the flames of the explosion. I dramatically fell on my back. "It's gone... it has to be gone, right?" I let out exhausted.

"Yep. You did it, Y/N." Leon affirmed. "Good..." I muttered. "Wake me up when we reach the stop, 'kay?" I tell them as I gave in to sleep.

. . .

"Look!" Sherry pointed to an incoming truck. "He might be able to give us a ride." Sherry continued. Then, Claire let out a startling comment. "What if it's not just the city?" Claire asks us.

I thought about it for a minute. "Get Sherry out of here." Leon told us. Both Claire and I turned to Sherry. "Come on." Claire tells Sherry as we three step to the side. Leon stayed on the road and waited for the truck. He got ready to shoot.

Then, the truck passed by. The driver pulled out his middle finger as he passes by us. "What an as -- I mean, a-hole!" I shouted after the driver, watching my language.

"So... is it over?" Claire lets out. "I don't know. But if it's not, we'll stop it." Leon replied. "For sure. Whatever it takes." I added. "Yeah. You're damn right we will!" Claire let out.

"Long as we stick together, we'll be fine. Come on." Leon tells us. I turned to Sherry and waved her to me. "Wanna piggyback ride?" I asked her. She nods enthusiastically and runs to me. I knelt as she climbed onto my back.

"Hold on tight!" I told her. I held her thighs and stood on my two legs. "Alrighty, let's go!" She exclaimed. Leon and I nodded as we started. I then noticed Claire hesitating.

"Claire? C'mon... we gotta go." I tell her. She looked out into the distance. I could sense something was about to happen. "Claire... you can't mean..." Leon dragged as she nodded in response.

"I have to find, Chris."She tells us. It was all quiet until someone spoke up. "We'll meet again, right, Claire?" Sherry asks her. Claire nods with a small smile with her face.

"We will, Sherry." She replied. "Stay safe, Claire." Leon tells her. "I will." She replies once more. "If something's up, don't be afraid to give us a ring. We'll meet one way or another." I bid. "Right." Claire replies again.

. . .

"We have the authority to do as we please with you. You and that other officer and that girl."

I looked around the empty room that only had me, myself, and I.

"Threats won't break me easily. Just leave them out of this. The girl's innocent." I replied with a sigh.

"An innocent who carries the G antibody. Don't worry, we're taking very good care of her."

"You better be..." I muttered.

"Bottom line is... you have the experience we're looking for. You and your officer friend. So if you want this to end peacefully, you really have only one choice."

I looked up from the floor and stared at the mirrored glass.

"Work for us."
