"I'm guessing you know, at least, a little about the Umbrella Corporation?" Ada asks as we walked past the gun shop. "Mhm." I simply answer as I follow her. "They're a pharmaceutical company secretly making bioweapons. They have a virus -- it turns people into indestructible monsters." She explains to me as we walked past a fenced door.

"That explains the things I've seen..." I muttered as we jumped down onto a platform. "And that's why I'm looking for Annette Birkin -- she's the one at Umbrella responsible for unleashing the virus. I'm going to bring her down. We jumped down another platform as I looked up.

'The sewers?' I queried as I followed. "This is how we get to Annette." She tells me as she looks inside the pipe. "It's fitting..." I muttered as I looked inside. "Well said. After you..." She tells me as I just walk in. "Is it because I'm a rookie? What happened to lady's first?" I grumbled as I continued to walk into the sewers.

"A real scientist...down here in the sewers...that's hard to imagine." I said as I stepped over several pieces of junk. "According to HQ...this leads right into Umbrella's secret facility." She tells me as I stopped. I turned right and continued on. "You're serious. Sewers are run by the city." I told her. "How could they have a facility...without anyone, and better yet, the authorities knowing?" I ask her.

"Welcome to corporate America." She said as I sarcastically thanked her. "Umbrella's controlled Raccoon City for years." She tells me as we continue on. As we ventured the sewers, the ground shook. "An earthquake?" I queried as I look around. "I sure as hell hope so." Ada spoke. I noticed a door as I walked through it. As I was walking, I noticed a big figure pass by in front of me. My eyes widened at how big the figure looked.

"The hell...?" I queried as I continued on. "Stay sharp! God only knows what's down here..." Ada warns me as I heard it roar. "Hey, Ada. Have you watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?" I ask her as I heard a short chuckle come out of her.

"Why do you ask?" She queries. "What if that thing was just like them?" I tell her as I turned on the hallway. "You must be sick in your fantasies if you think we'll be seeing turtles who know martial arts and was trained by a rat." She tells me with a scoff. "I'm just saying..." I muttered as I continued on. I opened a steel door and let Ada through first.

"Thank you, Y/N." She thanked me with a small smile as I followed her. "In these times, we, at least, need a little good thing or appreciation every so often. Don't you think?" I ask her. "I think the same, Y/N. But let's not get sidetracked again." She tells me as I nod.

We walked up onto a small platform that had a connected stairwell leading down. We walked down it and turned as we were met with another thud and roar. "Again...?" I muttered. "You can still turn back, Y/N." She tells me as I look at her. "I already said it myself. I want to see things through and put an end to this." I told her as I continued to walk. "If there's a chance for someone to stop something big like this, then I'll take it." I tell her as I gripped onto my pistol.

We entered a tight hallway as we continued on. 'I don't see where this is going...' I told myself as I shrugged my shoulders. When I saw there was a dead end in front of me, I looked over and saw water. 'Looks safe.' I told myself as I dropped into the water. My gag reflexes kicked in when I forgot that I was wading in sewer water.

"Don't come down here!" I shouted as I looked up at Ada. "Wasn't planning to." She replied back. "Is this really the right way?" I ask her. "Unfortunately." She simply answers as I felt a thud in the water. The thuds sounds got closer and closer. 'Not good...' I thought as the water splashed onto me and out appeared a gigantic crocodile. "Jesus!" I shouted.

It smashed its snout onto the sewer wall. "Y/N! Get out of there!" She shouted with concern. "I know!" I shouted back as I turned away and started treading the water. I ran as I felt the crocodile coming at me from the left as I leaned right. I saw a glimpse of its mouth close as it retreated back.

It leaned right as I leaned left. I kept running and dodging as long as I can. I then saw pipe big enough to be the crocodile's chew toy. I ducked under the pipe as its jaw caught the pipe. It started biting on it as I read the warning sign on it. I smirked as I aimed my pistol at the pipe and shot it.

BOOM

The crocodile exploded as it caught on fire. The body slid down as I got a great view of its blown up head. "That's why we don't play with fire..." I muttered. "Y/N, up here!" I heard Ada call for me as she let down a ladder. "What did I say about Teen--!" "Just get up here!" She demands as I climbed up the ladder. "It was no turtle, but it still--"

"Stop before I leave you behind." Ada threatens me as I smiled at her annoyance. "I was just speaking my thoughts." I told her as I followed her into a hallway. "But on a serious note, you said the virus affected people, not reptiles." I said. "Fair point. I'm just impressed you made it in one piece." She said.

"I keep my word." I told her as we took a turn. We, then, entered an elevator as it brought us down. "Why does Umbrella sell and create these bioweapons? Is it for someone? For the military?" I ask her. "They don't sell the monsters, they sell the viruses that make them. And Annette is who makes the viruses. Scary as that crocodile was...Annette is far more dangerous.

The elevator door opens as we walk out of it. I opened a door as I heard a familiar voice as I went through it. "Definitely William's handiwork..." I saw a blonde woman kneeling in front of a dead zombie. I brought my pistol up and aimed it at her. "Identify yourself." I told her.

Ada walks in and pulls her pistol up and aims it at the woman. "Annette Birkin." Ada identified her. "She's the one we're looking for?" I ask her as I gripped my pistol. "Not much time..." Annette muttered. "Need to dispose of it..." She continued.

"We're here for the G-virus!" Ada says as she takes a step towards her. "Heh...that's not going to happen." Annette tells her. "I'm warning you, doctor!" Ada warns her. "Oh yeah?" She questions as she lit the zombie on fire. "Hey!" I let out.

The doctor runs away as Ada gives chase. "Stop!" She shouts as I follow her. Then, bullets were being shot at her. I felt time slow down as I saw a single bullet make its way towards Ada. "Ada!" I shouted as I rammed my body in front of her as I pulled both of us away from open fire.

I slowly get up as Ada was already shooting at the doctor. "You'll never get the G-virus!" I heard the doctor shouted. I get up as I applied pressure on the gun wound. "Didn't expect that from a scientist." I looked back as Ada's shades were gone.

"That's her, right?" I let out weakly as I walk towards the closed reinforced door. "We should go after her." I said again as I stumbled by a nearby wall and kept walking.

"Y/N..." I heard her let out as I looked back at her. "Let's go...or she'll...get away..." I said as I felt my body meet the floor...

"Y/N!"

I succumb to the darkness.
