It was no surprise that Zayn had a hard time sleeping that night. But he finally got to sleep around three thirty. Six and a half hours later, he woke up and changed out of his dark clothes and put on his pajamas so Doniya wouldn't see his attire and become suspicious of him.

When he came out of the room and went into the kitchen, she was there, and getting ready to make breakfast.

"You're up."

"Yeah." He sighed.

"You look like you had a rough night's sleep. Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, I guess."

"Are you sure?"

He sat down at the table with his hand on his cheek.

"I'm gonna go out today."

"Go out where?"

"To see Harry. I really need to talk to him."

"Oh." She looked at him worriedly. "Is everything okay between you two?"

"I think so. But to be honest, I'm not really sure yet. I'm just confused. That's all."

"Does it have something to do with your grades and why they were slipping in Physics?"

Zayn paused. In a round about way it did. He was distracted in Physics because he was thinking about his plans to kill Sam. But when he finally went to carry out those plans he saw Harry's picture on his end table and it stopped him from doing what he planned. Since that was what he was going to talk to Harry about today, then he wouldn't be lying if he said it did.

"Yes. It does."

"Oh. Wow. Well, I hope everything is okay between you two. You know. With your plans for college and everything."

"Yeah..."

"Want some breakfast?" She asked in an effort to cheer him up. "I'll make anything you want."

"Yeah, I'll take a big bowl of oatmeal. Something filling. Maybe it'll help me think later."

"Would you like some berries in it?"

"Yes please."

She busied herself with fixing his breakfast so Zayn used that time to stare into space and wonder how he was going to approach this situation with Harry. From the beginning, his intentions were to keep it a secret and he wanted to protect Harry from the truth. But now that Harry was apart of the truth, he had to know. So how he was going to tell him what he'd being doing behind his back all this time? The only way he knew was to try to come right out and say it and hope that Harry would understand.

"It's the last weekend and I still don't know what I want to be for Halloween."
Harry was telling his mother.

"Well, you only have three days so you better think soon."

"I know. I might just go out this evening and find something simple."

"Why the evening? Why not now while it's still daylight?"

"I don't know. I was just gonna wait."

As soon as he finished that sentence, the doorbell rang.

"Could you get that?" His mother asked.

"Sure. I'll get it."

When he opened the door and saw Zayn there, he raised his brow. "Zayn? What are you doing here?"

"We need to talk, Harry."

"Why? What's wrong?"

"Don't ask questions. Just please, can you come and go with me?"
