Prom Night - Finally!

Well guys, this is it, the final chapter ^w^ I really hope you all enjoy Seika's Prom! "Isn't your prom tonight dear?" Misaki's mom asked with a smile.

Misaki crossed her arms. "Yes, but I won't be going."

Her jaw dropped. "What do you mean you're not going? Prom is one of the most important things you get to be part of!"

"I'm not going! I'm not leaving you here by yourself!" Misaki realized that she had just yelled at her mother, and sunk low in her chair, embarrassed. "S-sorry..."

Her mother was surprised, but she just laughed. "Honestly, Misaki, you worry too much about others. It's not a bad thing, not at all. But you have to focus on yourself sometimes, too. Go to the prom, I'll still be here when you get back. It's not like I could leave even if I wanted to anyways." Misaki opened her mouth to speak, but her mother spoke first. "I'll be alright, Misaki. Don't worry about me."

"You say that, but-"

"Sakura, Shizuko!"

Misaki's eyebrows lifted in confusion. "What about them?" Sakura and Shizuko burst into the room, snatching Misaki up. "What the hell?! Hey, put me down!"

Misaki's mom giggled as they left the room, waving to Misaki. "Have fun, dear!"

Misaki shook her head and smiled. I should have known she wasn't going to take no for an answer. Shizuko and Sakura took Misaki to her house and started dressing her. "Ow! That hurts, Sakura!"

"Sorry!" Sakura pulled on her hair, putting it up into beautiful curls. Misaki blushed and touched one of the curls.

"Bouncy," she said with a laugh under her breath.

"I hope you win Prom Queen, Misaki!"

Misaki smiled. "Thank you, Sakura, but I'll be fine without the win."

"What?! You mean you don't care if you win or not?"

Misaki shook her head. "Not really. It would be nice, but...I'm just doing this because Usui asked. And I want to spend time with him."

Shizuko pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose. "Usui just sent me a text; he's on his way."

"Okay!" Sakura whipped Misaki around and started to do her makeup quickly but swiftly. She whipped the chair back around and Misaki just stared at herself in the mirror. I look like a whole different person...

There was a knock on the door. "I'll get it!" Sakura exclaimed happily. She rushed to the door and opened it to find Usui standing there in a black suit, his hair slicked back. Her eyes turned into big hearts. "Kya~! You look soo handsome Usui-kun!" she gushed. Usui laughed.

"Is she ready?" he asked. Sakura nodded.

"MISAKI! GET IN HERE SO I CAN TAKE PHOTOS OF YOU GUYS!"

Misaki blushed violently, walking to the door. Usui's eyes went wide, as did hers. "Let's get this over with," she mumbled, standing next to Usui. Sakura squealed as her and Shizuko took pictures. After about fifteen minutes, Misaki sighed. "Don't you have enough now? Ugh, my face hurts from smiling so much."
