As the girls got home in Deeridge, They argued about why Patience was so stubborn. Why she wouldn't let anyone help her and why she just wouldn't admit she liked Nethanel. "I don't need help and I don't like him for the last time!" Patience exclaimed stomping her foot like a little kid. Lauren smirked while Bethany scoffed "Bullshit" She said. Lauren groaned she was always caught in the middle of their petty agruments although this one wasn't as petty, she was still caught in the middle.

She was so embarrassed they hadn't even made it into the apartment before they had started snapping and throwing hateful comments to each other. "Look dog" Patience sneered "I'd call you a ankle biter but thats a little below what you do" Bethany growled, they stepped closer to each other. "Whoa, Whoa" Lauren stood in between her paranormal friends who could easily tear her apart, "Let's go inside and just stay far away from each other" She suggested with a smile "Patience...Keys?" Patience looked away to open the door and went inside "Try and be a little supportive, remember how you felt when you got turned, not like you got on your hands and knees and asked Keaton for advice either...took some prying to get to you" Lauren explained to Bethany quietly. Although she had no doubt Patience could hear them.

All the while Patience sat at her laptop in the kitchen, she didn't need the bloodsuckers help. She could manage on her own, Lauren and Bethany didn't have faith in her and that was ok, she had faith in herself. She didn't need help from the enemy and the man that caused her to result to this tragic lifestyle, But Patience was pretty hungry. She was doing this for her sanity...not because she was stubborn or desperate or anything.

Bethany had long since fallen asleep on the couch. And Lauren cuddled in the recliner reading her one of her romance novels. Patience checked the time 9:30, she left out of her kitchen to go check her mail box. As she walked into the living room and past Bethany and Lauren towards the door she heard "Where are you going?" She turned around and saw Lauren facing her with hands planted firmly on her hips. Patience bit her lip "downstairs" she said Lauren had a look that said "for what?" "I'm just going to the mail box" She said rolling her eyes. Lauren looked at a fast asleep Bethany, she grabbed her Jacket and walked with Patience down to the mailbox.

The girls returned with a box, Patience walked into the kitchen and opened it. Lauren gasped behind her "You're gonna drink black market blood?!" she asked, Patience quieted her down "I need to eat some how." Lauren pulled Marissa's card out of her pocket "This is your help" she said throwing the card on the table "That" she pointed to the bag of blood "Is you being stubborn" Lauren exclaimed.

Patience didn't care, She drink the blood hastily she let the warm liquid pool in her mouth and fil her dry lungs, Patience moaned at the delicious taste that filled her and quenched her throat. Lauren stood back in disgust as she watched her friend devour what was previously in the bag.

Patience had discovered a new kind of high. She felt enlightened, invincible, she felt..dizzy. The blood caused her eyes to become bloodshot and for Patience herself to become dizzy and loopy. Lauren gasped and rushed to her purse. Patience stumbled out of the kitchen and tried to find her bedroom door. She spotted a glimmer in her right eye she turned her head and focused her eyes on what was in her hand, It was a needle! "Patience stand still and this won't hurt" Lauren cooed "Fuck that" Patience yelled running around the living room and running into objects around her with Lauren in high pursuit of her. "Bethany wake up!" Lauren shouted. Soon Bethany and Lauren were on top of her and Lauren plunged the large needle into Patience's thigh. Patience fainted.
