Quirk: ONE FOR ALL
Cross ran next to me, everyone else not far behind.
We rounded the corner in the parking lot and my stomach turned.
Blood splatter didn't convey that red-painted row of parking spots.
Black feathers were everywhere. I almost didn't see Leona, she blended in with the scene. She was coated head to toe. I froze. Cross ran over. "Override."
"Oh don't yell for the love of God." Leona groaned. I let out a breath. She was alive. Someone- no something was next to her.
A chunk of an ebony wing sat next to her.
"Just like downstairs eh Cross?" She chuckled, seeing him staring at the bloodied feathers.
The calm voice and easy laughing didn't fool anyone though. Tear streams cut through the
blood caked on her face.
"Where's Jenson?" She asked quietly.
There was a silence as an eerie breeze brushed through the parking lot, howling through the pillars.
Leonas screams still echoed in my ears. What the hell did he do to make her watch hurt her like that?
"He's dead Override." Cross said finally.
"I know." She hiccuped. "I know."

Cross drove us home, the silence of the car weighing on everyone.
I tried to get my thoughts on order but for once in a long time, my thoughts were silent.
I wanted to help her. But I didn't know how. Watching the street lights run over the curves of her face she reminded me of Todoroki. When he had beaten Sero in the Sports Festival, that same look of sorrow had crossed his face. Even if Leona and Shoto won... ultimately... there was more behind their battle.
I couldn't help but glance at the purple tattoo peeking over her shoulder. Wings.
The man that attacked us... That attacked her, had black wings. They knew each other, that was clear. He asked if she wanted to go home. During that conversation with Kem and Paul, they had asked if she was happy to be home. Those statements contradict each other. Remal I think it was, the one with black wings wasn't on the side of the CIA. It's plausible that he had been referring to America, that would make sense if he was apart of the CIA and is no longer. It would explain why seeing him shook Leona so much.
Paul and Kem could have been referring to the Catacombs as home, and if she was based in
Japan as a CIA agent that would fit perfectly, and still work if Remal was an Ex CIA member, asking her if she wanted to return home to America.
