CHAPTER:1
(Mavis's pov)
Beep Beep Beep...
"What the" I said out loud and realized that my alarm went off. So its 8:00 and I have to get up for work. But I can lay here for 5 more minutes it's not like the worlds going to end. I closed my eyes and drifted back to dreamland.
Boom...
A loud thud made me fall off me bed.8:25 oh no. I got up and rushed to get ready for work. I can't be late again. I dressed in to a white shirt with a pair of black jeans and my comfy black hoodie with a gray scarf. I let my brunette hair fall on my back; they were naturally very straight so i was lucky with that.
I made my way out of my apartment that I shared with kimberly.kim was a very bright girl, smarter than average 18 years old, mature but extremely serious about everything which I hate about her since I'm a total opposite. To start with I'm average not extremely intelligent like her. I mean who'd want to be like that I don't find it healthy to know everything you know.
Secondly I am not serious about anything not even my life I say that you only get to live once it's not like you can live it again and that's the reason why I believe in miracles.
I stood in front of the elevator but it was taking too long so I decided to take the stairs.
Hurry up Hurry up I ordered myself and finally was out of my building. My workplace was a 15 minute walk from here but I had to stop for coffee I mean what if I fall asleep while working, we would not want that, I quick stop at the cafe, i got myself a cappuccino and was now on my way to work. I took out my phone to check the time and took a sip form my coffee, it was hot and when I saw the time I had to gulp it down.
By then I was running down the aisle and I had drank half my coffee. And there's this thing about me I never get tired of running and I'm really loud.
Okay just around the corner you still got 2 minutes I informed myself. I was very close to the corner but I had to squeeze between the fat lady and the newspaper boy. I did it with ease but I almost knocked over the newspaper pile. I looked back running around the corner to see if it was still in balance and luckily it was but right then
Kaboom...
I bumped in to someone and my coffee was all over my shirt. "Aah hot" I screamed and looked down at the brown stain. I looked up and a blond boy with dreamy blue eyes stood there with an apologetic expression spread across his face.
Okay, pause. Like seriously, fate i would really like to have a word with whoever controls it. Already late for work, that i don't enjoy doing, a movie like accident with Mr. Dreamy, and a coffee stained shirt that looks as if its been mopped the streets with. Come on, cut me some slack.
Play,
"Oh I am really sorry I did not mean it" the boy said in an accent. No, not the band accent, the sound. Yeah.
"Its okay, my fault, I wasn't looking...sorry" I replied
"I'll make it up to you? I can buy you another one" he offered. Oh my god he was so cute and he offered to buy me coffee. But I have to let it pass I was in a hurry. Plus almost two coffee in the same hour, what? Do you want me to go all hyper?
"Sure, but I'm sort of in a hurry so..." I began to explain not even bothering to finish it.
"Oh totally acceptable but can I have your number? Not to sound creepy or anything." He asked "you know so I can make it up to you." and without thinking any further I blurted out the digits and he typed something in his cell phone.
