Important arthur note  at end :)

"There was not much to say when the excitement, tears and relife in your system are at its peak."

i sat there in the unconfortable office chair. excited for what i achieved today, relieved for who i found and the tears, well they just dont seem to fall out. im hardcore, so crying just not for me. He's sat across the tabel from me, but im glad he is still close. still with in reach. im really excited to meet him after all theses years, not because he's famous. Hell, im not impressed by famous people, its not like they have horns on their heads, they're just like us. but because he was a huge part of our lives. a part that faded away but has reapeared.

he looks at me and i smile back. my entire past has been thrown on the tabel in the past two hours. he stares at me with shock all over his face.

"i cant believe she tried to sell you" he finally says bringing back all those memories that i have been trying so hard to run away from.

Mavis Whyte, age 13

"get up you bitch" her devil-ish voice rings in my ears as i feel her nails agains my skin trying to rip off the blanket and succeeding, leaving me shiviring as the cold air hit my bare skin. she grabs me by the arm and drags me out the room. i don't scream even though it hurts, because inow i'll recieve a slap or a punch. she letsgo of me at the top of the stais as tears began streaming down my face. "where is your ass of a brother" she says making smoke hit my face.

i just cried not answering. "aww sweety did i scare you? just tell me where your brother is" she asked in the most sweetedt way possibe "i shook my head" for a moment i thought she'd change but her further movement made me scream my head off. she pulled up the hem of my shirt revealing my tummy that was skinner than an african's baby. she moved the cigarette she held, in her hand.making it point at me and the she sticks the burning side to my skin and the scream left my mouth with a lot of tears. i heard kyles footsteps behind me as he came to stand beside me. he held me protectively and began to console me.

"see i'd told you i can find him". her hand knots in my hair and she began to pull me, dragging me down the stairs. i scream out in pain. kyle hot on our trail. he tried grabbing me and pulling me back but she just slapped him making him stumble down the staircase. i am dragged to the living room where 4 men all in suits are sat. they eye me from head to toe. Aunt  Senka sat down with them leaving me to be stared at. "so what do you think?" she asks the strange men. i think i'll pay a fifty for this one". "oh i do't think she's worth a fifty?" she says "i need more" "fine how about a hundred and fifty" another man says. "now thats more like it" my aunt replies.

"i think $200,000 is reasonable" "i like your thinking" she says drinking the liquid from those grown up bottels. they continue to babbel and i am forced to stand in front of them that is before kyle comes in the room witht a knife pointing at the men. "stay away from her" he screams "what are you gonna do kill us with a kitchen knife?" one of the man asks with a chuckel. "come on sonny you don't want me to hit you again do you?" Aunt senka asks. he stands beside me thinking really hard before he grabs me by the sbhoulders and holding the blade of the knife to my neck. a gasp escaped my aunts lips as kyle begans to step back. "No. wait kyle. don't do this" she says "she cost's too much"  "she's not going anywhere" he says before sprinting upstairs with me. instantly he drops the knife to the floor "im sorry but it was the only way" he explains. "now hurry up" he grabs my hand and drags me to the room i came out of. this house was crappy. like an abandoned house. with paint crumbling off and holes in the floor.

"we have a deal." i heard her say "you can take her tomorrow." that was the last thing i hear before i am pushed into the room and draged to the window. "have you got the rope" kyles asked but before i could ask what he was talking about some one replied his question. "yeah"  i look around to find an all too fimiliar face come out of the darkness. she has long blond hair that reaches till the end of her back.her brown eyes sparkel as she steps in to the light. she's around my age that is 11. my brother and the girl began climbing out the window. but i think kyleforgot im scared of heights. i stand inside the room watching them tie the rope to the bed and the fall out. the girl, ruby McConner, goes first and then my brother. "come on mavis" he says and then he looks at my expressions "its gonna be okay mavis, its not that high" he says.
