RINGGG RINGGG. "Shit." "Time to go to class."
As I get stand up to start walking to class noone seems to notice. As usual. I know they are my friends. But whenever I walk away they never notice. But if anyone else gets up and walks away everyone notices. I know it shouldn't bother me, but it does. I feel like they don't notice me a lot. They are always making plans and almost never invite me. But everyone else always is. They are always doing things without me. I pretend it doesn't bother me because I don't want them to get mad. But I wish they would invite me places too.
I walk into class... with the wrong books... again. "Fml." "What was that Katie?" "I said good morning Mrs. Apple."
"Take your seat now"
"Where am I taking it Mrs. Apple?"
"Now Katie I won't tolerate smart A remarks in my classroom"
"You can say the word. I know I'm a smart ass."
"Sit down now!"
"Now you want me to sit down right now?"
"Yes right now"
"Ok." I sat down right there in front of her on the floor. I don't think she liked that very much.
"Go to the office now"
"But Mrs. Apple I did exactly what you told me to do."
"Just... just get out of my class I don't care do what you want."
"Ok but I think you should make up your mind on what you tell your students to do, they could get confused."
"Have I really been arguing with this teacher for forty two minutes?"
