Chapter Four

Dear diary,                                                     

Today was tryouts.. well not for me though for Naya and Ava. Go Lions! Right? ridiculous. I watched them with their poms poms and annoying tiny voices. Just by the corner I sighted Camila, Jade, Layla and Chloe. They call themselves the ICONS..

You will not believe Naya and I were once friends with those jerks, actually they liked Naya but me not so much. Camila, Chloe and Layla just finished trying out and obviously they passed.

I wasn't surprised when they came to me. "Blue, I don't think you are the cheerful type, Ohh I forgot neither are you the girly type" Camila said, for some reason that was just a very boring joke but apparently they all started laughing.
I immediately said "Aww, Camila I don't think you should be worried about me trying out, I think you should focus more on your fat ass and how your outfit would fit into it".
Everyone in the gym started laughing. Camila and her crew then stormed out of the gym without uttering a single word.

Suddenly I remembered when we were still friends.Camila compared me to my cousin, Layla, yes she's part of them. It was a matter of time I realized that she didn't like me either. I was sad scratch that depressed. In as much as I behave like I don't care, I do care but I've realized to appreciate those who accept me. Back to the tryouts!!

"Oh my God, Abby!! what are you doing?!" Alice shouted from her seat as she stood up holding a note book. " Honey I advise, never come for tryouts until I die, get the fuck out" she said as she rolled her eyes and shouted "Next!!" Well that's Alice for you she doesn't sugar coat. I used to adore her, she's bold, popular and rich but with time I realized she's just a mean senior who finds joy in making others miserable.

"Ok Naya your up."She said

I could see Naya was nervous when she started biting her lip , then I did a very funny face to lighten her mood even though I knew that she will nail it.

"We sent you a video of the choreography for the tryouts and that's what your performing" Ruby said

Oh shit!

Naya stiffened, " I didn't receive any video; can I just do my own choreography?"

I may have deleted it when playing candy crush on Naya's phone.

"What do you mean, you didn't receive it. We sent it to you" Naomi spoke up.

Alice, Ruby and Naomi are the three most popular and most hated girls in the school, so I wasn't surprised.

"Hey!!" I shouted from the bench catching everyone's attention. "It's my fault I deleted it. So can you just use her own choreography, you won't be disappointed "I added.

"Fine but one mistake your out!" Alice said through gritted teeth.

What.A.Bitch

Well long story short, she got in with Ava. I was happy but she's going to be so pissed at me. I'm sorry.

Dear diary..

Tryouts were good in a way. I didn't receive the choreography for the cheer audition, anyways Blue helped me out as usual, but I later found out that I received it but she deleted it while playing candy crush on my phone.I'm not mad, I still made the team. Also the ICONS tried to pick on Blue again. I don't know why they don't like her, even her own cousin Layla. Although I can tolerate them because I don't find them relevant.

After the tryouts Charles brought ice cream for me. His so sweet but I don't know how to tell him that he's like a brother to me, I wish I was more like Blue. She isn't afraid to tell anyone anything except Jordan. Tomorrow, they will separate our classes. I just hope I'm not stuck with Cole seeing his face alone is enough torture for me.
