A Difficult Deck of Cards Damian x reader

Card 5

(Y/n)'s pov

I snapped my fingers and I was transformed into my Wild Jack hero suit.

Starfire, Beast Boy and Blue Beetle showed up a few moments after I did. We all began fighting the hellish creatures.

I threw a card at the abdomen of one of the demons before I disappeared and reappeared behind it, kicking it in the spine.

It shrieked and swung its chawed hand out at me.

"The hell are you, my hungry cat?" I asked, dodging the claws.

I kicked the red creature in the face as Starfire shot green energy behind me. I caught sight of Gar and Jaime fighting back to back.

The rest of the team all began to back up towards Raven. I was on the opposite side of them, fighting off a demon.

I held three cards between my fingers and flung them at the demon like Batarangs before jumping backwards.

It jumped at me and I cried out as it scratched my chest. As I reapeared and disappeared, I spotted Raven struggling to keep her forcefield up. I pushed aside the burning feeling in my chest and disappeared from the one who'd scratched me and reappeared beside one that was attacking Raven's forcefield.

I kicked one that was in the side, sending it tumbling over. Raven nodded in thanks and continued to keep the force field up.

"Jack! Behind you!" Gar yelled. I turned and saw a demon about to strike me.

Suddenly a katana blade went through its head. The demon withered to the ground. Robin stood behind it.

I stuck out my tongue.

"I had that under control." I hissed, holding a hand over my bleeding chest. Robin eyed the blood that escaped my hand's pressure.

"As I see it, you let yourself get injured. Definitely not under control." He shot back. I blew a raspberry at him. He ignored me and turned to Raven who lowered her forcefield.

"Please tell me they're undead." The boy-wonder said.

"Yes but you can't stop them like that. They're like batteries." She said as the demons rose out of the ground.

"You have to run them down?" Star concluded. Raven nodded.

"Oh goody! Playmates that never get tired of the same game of tag." I commented sarcastically. Beast Boy chuckled.

"Don't let your guard down." Starfire said as she and Raven rose in the air and began fighting off one of the hell spawns.

Blue Beetle and Beast Boy fought off another. So me and Robin took on the last.

Our demon jumped in the air. I threw two cards at it while Robin threw a small explosive. Both weapons lodged in the demon's abdomen and it crashed to the ground.

"Right on target partner!" I said towards Robin. He scoffed as the demon appeared out of the ground in front of him. He jumped on it and cut its head off. The demon stumbled forward and its head grew back.

"Hey! These things remind me of the monsters in Percy Jackson!" I shouted.

"Focus." Robin scolded.

"Focus." I mimicked in a high pitched voice.

Beside us, Starfire and Blue blasted their demons and they flew into the distance. Star punched hers with a green, fiery fist. It grabbed her legs and swung her into Raven. Raven caught her as they dodged an attack. The demon's four eyes glowed red and black and shot Raven and Starfire, sending them to the ground. They landed with a loud thud.

I turned to see Blue punch his then Beast Boy run at it in a goat form. The demon tried to shoot him but Beast Boy ran around it and shifted into a gorilla form, punching it hard.

Raven knelt by Starfire and turned to see a demon come up behind them. She raised her hands to fire at it but put a hand over her heart and groaned. The demon raised its hands above its head, red and black magic flickering on them.

"Raven! Star!" I shouted in alarm. I spun and launched my yo-yo at the demon.

It wrapped around the vile creature. The demon hissed and melted out of my yo-yo which shot back into my hand.

I grunted in frustration.

No ones pov

Blue Beetle and Robin eliminated their demon with a bomb and Beetle's blast. Beast Boy then turned into an elephant and sat on the demon for good measure. The demon withered and disappeared.

Raven clenched her fists and her skin turned red. Four glowing red eyes appeared on her face. She shot a black and purple raven at the demon, destroying it completely. She quickly turned back to normal before anyone could notice.

"Son of a bitch!" Wild Jack yelled as he tackled a demon to the ground before stabbing it in the neck with a card.

The creature released a screech and faded away.

"You good?" Robin asked as he extended a hand to the (y/h/c) haired male. Only he knew of the concern in his voice.

"Yeah I'm good. Looks like you do care about me after all." Wild Jack teased. Robin rolled his eyes as the Titans gathered as Raven descended from the sky.

"Woo ya! We kicked demon booty! Yeah baby!" Beast Boy cheered. "Up top!" He put his hands in the air, waiting for Robin to high-five him.

"Hit me!" Wild Jack smiled taking Robin's wrist and smacked his hand against Beast Boy's. Beast Boy grinned as Robin yanked his hand from the shorter boy's grip.

"Don't touch me heathen."  The ravenette hissed.

"My deepest apologies your royal majesty." Wild Jack mocked. Beast Boy nudged the other's arm and snickered.

The team turned to Raven as Starfire wore a serious expression. Raven landed on the ground silently. Starfire approached her.

"Robin said I didn't know enough about you." She hesitated. "I think he was right." Wild Jack and the rest of the team stepped up behind Star. "You told me you didn't have a father."

"What I said is that he's gone." Raven replied sharply, turning her head from you and the team.

"That's not the same as dead." Robin spoke up. Wild Jack hit the taller's arm.

"He's dead to me!" Raven shouted, turning her back to the team. Beast Boy crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow.

"So why is he trying to kill you?" He asked.

"He's not trying to kill me. It's much worse." Raven said, opening her eyes.
