C H A P T E R 7

REBECCA

You forgot right? he asked

I opened my eyes in a hurry, sat up and now I was looking at his perfectly shaped face that must have taken years to make. I m so much lucky right now to have him in my life.

"I forgot ??", I countered question him and gave him an innocent face to tell him that I literally forgot something. He stood up, went in the direction of the kitchen and came back with a cake in his hands. Holy shit, I seriously forgot his birthday. I m such a horrible person. oh my god just send me to hell right away. ahhhhh

"look, Alec, I just-", he gave me a sweet kiss on my cheeks that were now like a reddish tomato and said in the sweetest tone ever, "let's forget everything and cut the cake, shall we?" he passed me a knife, put his hand above mine and held it tightly.

"you gonna sing me sing now?", passed me a heart touching smile and began to cut.

"happy birthday to you,

happy birthday to you,

happy birthday dear Alec,

happy birthday to you."

I ended the song by putting the same piece of cake that we just cut in his mouth and kissed him on his cheek as well. his eyes were showing the true feelings that he had for me and still have. we need a person like Alec in our life for sure. His aura is so amazing and lovey-dovey that we seriously need sometimes.

After cleaning up the mess that we created, we took the red wine bottle with us, went straight to the pool, sat near the pool and dipped our legs inside the chilled water. We had so many conversations that were mostly about where we were, what we were doing...I was telling him about my stepfather and my mom stuff and then we reached at the last topic that we every time do. MAFIA WORLD.

"I heard that u have been finding Arthur for a long time. need any help senorita?", he asked while smirking at me. He knew me very well but he didn't know the reason behind it because we made a deal that no sharing of personal problems unless you want to tell by your own will. he respected it very well and that's the reason I like him a lot.

"yes, I am trying my best to find him. but he's hiding. so yea I need help." I replied while taking a sip of the Merlot. All wines should be tasted; some should only be sipped, but with others, drink the whole bottle. I totally know that by the end of the night we gonna end two to three bottles of it. hehe.

"Sure I would love to help. gonna search him and then gonna tell you about his whereabouts. ok?" he asked while glancing at me.

"Yup! fine by me. but do it a little fast, I don't have any patience left.", I replied in a totally changed demeanour.

The night passed away in the blinked of an eye and now I was getting ready for an early meeting with my new investor. I just don't get that the hell does he want to invest in my company. I was wearing a purple short dress on my petite figure. I got inside my car and today I wanted to drive myself to the building. as I was near to my office, I got a call from Alec. why in the world is he evening calling me early morning?.

"9 AM ....seriously alec?" I asked while getting out of my car. and locking it up. I turned around and started walking towards my building entrance.

"if you don't want the location of Arthur then I m just gonna hang up gattino.", he replied lazily as he just woke up due to an urgent matter that was for me. I m seriously gonna die by embarrassing and my rosy cheeks just got more tinted with red. he chuckled on the other line and said, " stop blushing senorita, you are a mafia leader and get a hold of your self. I m gonna send the location and then do whatever u want to do with him. have to fun Cara mia.", he ended the call and I was just stunned at my entrance door. that was a nice conversation. I entered the building, just got into an elevator and when the door was closing with a ting sound, I just got a text from Alec about Arthur's fucking where about.

Well, that's all I want when I'm always outside. I don't want attraction- its just a god gift. What can I do? Can't help it. I was walking down the street and entered a coffee shop. Whenever u enter a coffee shop guys you need to breathe slowly because the aroma of the coffee beans is just awesome. I directly move to the counter to order my usual. I smiled at the cashier lady and winked at her before going to my favourite seat-by the window. My black coffee was given to me after five minutes of waiting on the table. I suddenly got a call from Rebecca. weird. I picked it up and answered the call in a different demeanour.

"yes, boss?", I asked

"I want you and V at the blue night club tonight.", she replied

"Okay boss, got it.", with that she hung up on me. Sassy.

I unlocked my phone again and searched her number, I gave her a miss call and then waited for 5 minutes. exactly after five minutes, she called me back. I-like-it.

"what's up dumb piece of-", I cut her sentence in the middle and replied directly.

"Boss wants both of us at blue night club tonight at-", I remember that boss didn't give any specific time so why not have fun with this little diva. I was brought back with a coughing sound of V.

"oh yes, so as I was saying that we have to be there before 8. so be ready because ill be picking you up.", I stated and after that, I hung up before she might decline my offer. Ha-Ha-Ha.

I arrived at her apartment and gave her a call and waited there for like 2 to 3 minutes and as I was getting out of the car to go and personally bring her out from her fished up flat, There she was all in her glory and beauty. wearing a proper knee-length black dress with high heels, her hair brought up on one side of her body showing most of her other side in glory. I was lost in her whole appearance and didn't even think about opening the door for her or even giving her my hand to let her sit in the car. Dumb me.

I was brought back when she tapped on my shoulder and said with a smirk on her face,

"Take a picture because it's gonna last forever", with that she started using her phone.

I wanted to say a lot but something stirred in my heart deep down and I simply said with sincerity in my voice,

"you're looking amazing, V", with that she stopped doing what she was on her phone and looked at me. I was opened like a book. showing her my true emotions. she just blushed a little and murmur a small thank you.

The whole drive to the club was pin-drop silent. As we reached the club, V started asking about today's plan or why we were here and why did the boss call us her?

Well, I also didn't know so what could I tell her. I just put my hand behind her small back, make her lead the way and hoped for a lively night.....
