Park

Park burst through the front door to find his parents passionately kissing in the kitchen. Their relationship is like a yo-yo; one day they love each other and the next, they fight to the point where they want to kill each other.

Park wasn't one to bring people down with him and he didn't like to ruin other's moments. He quietly walked to his room and lay down on his bed. He hated being the only one that wasn't happy. He hated not having Eleanor, not seeing that wide smile that pushed her freckles away, not being able to kiss her luxurious lips. Park believed that God made his life miserable by taking Eleanor away from him, by putting her with another man, by bringing her back .

Park truly did love Eleanor, even though love was a strong word. Ever since Eleanor left, Park never wanted her to set foot back into his life. He was tired of crying over her every night. He was tired of wishing that she would come back, wishing that she had never left in the first place. Park was left with no tears and he didn't have the strength to have her back in his life.

He fell head first in to love and he got hurt. He realized that they weren't 'written in the stars.'

Park was confused. He didn't know what move to make. This was like playing a confusing chess game.

"Park, get down here now", Park's dad called from downstairs.

Park ran down the stairs trying to hold tears back. Thinking about Eleanor always made him cry even when he didn't want to.

"Sit down", his dad said motioning towards the couch. Park sat down beside Josh awaiting the news.

"We are excited to tell you that your mother is pregnant!", his dad exclaimed. His mother just smiled and nodded.

"Park, I expect you to help out I guess house and same to you Josh."

Ring. Ring. Ring

The phone rang and Park ran to answer it.

"Hello?" Park said.

"Park, I wanted to apologize for all the trouble I caused you and I wanted to tell you that I'm leaving, I'm going back to live with my grandparents. So... that's it. Bye Park. I hope we see each other again", Eleanor said sadly.

Park set down the phone and began to cry.
