Prologue

Stella Claire Grey

"Stop!" I warned him, but he didn't listen. Instead he took another step forward.

"I said stop!" and gave him a death glare.

I tried to make my voice sound intimidated but I think I failed because he gave me a mockery smile.

"What if I won't?" he asked in a teasing manner and took another step. Napaatras naman din ako.

Sinusubukan talaga ako nitong lalaking to! Kung hindi lang talaga magagalit si Mommy kanina ko pa ito sinapak! The nerve of this guy.

"I will tell this to your leader!" I shouted angrily. The expression on his face suddenly change, it became serious.

"Go ahead, I don't care anymore." He said in a monotone.

Halos mapapadyak ako sa sobrang inis. Ba't ba ayaw niyang making sa akin?! Napayuko na lamang ako at napakuyom na kamay. Why he's so stubborn?!

Napapitlag na lang ako ng maramdaman ko ang kamay niya sa mga pisngi ko. He gently caresses my check. I close my eyes and tried to calm myself. I shouldn't let myself get involved to this.

"Baby" he said in his low voice. "I love you."

This is not my first time hearing this from him, but the feeling, the emotion of his words is still the same. Only him. Only Rouge can gave me this euphoric feeling.

"Don't you love me?" he asked in a pleading voice. He gently moves his hand on my chin and tried to raise it. "Open your eyes babe." Don't! Stella! Don't you dare!

"Please?" but his voice is much more powerful than mine dahil kusang nagbukas ang mga mata at sinalubong ang kaniyang mga mata. His eyes is deeply looking at me at hindi ko magawang umiwas.

"Don't you love me?" he repeated his question with the same emotion. Pleading like a child, asking for something he wants.

I tried to open my mouth but close it again. This is not good. I want to say I love him but my tears started to fall.

I could see the panic in his eyes.

"I'm your manager." And I can't love you. I shouldn't love you.
