Flashback

She's dead.

Her life taken away by me.

I kiss her cold lips, knowing that its for the last time. I let a tear slip out again only this time I'm not quick to dispose it.

"Why did you do this?", I ask her silently, her silence reminding me that she's gone.

I let out a heavy sigh, trying to ease the pain that is constricting my chest as I pour the gasoline all over the car. I hold the lighter in my hand, the flame dancing elegantly waiting to destroy anything it comes in contact with. The black car that approaches me snaps me out of my thoughts. I notice its Astaroth's car. Looking back at Divine's dead body I release the lighter that catches quickly with the gas that litters the car, burning it immediately as I burn the memories with that we had created together. I turn my back and walk to the car, getting inside the back.

"Who messed up this time?", Astaroth asks with amusement. If only he knew who it was.

I'm silent. I don't answer his question but his next one forces the words out of my mouth.

"You going to Divine?"

"No."

"Is she back at the hotel?", he asks.

"No.", I reply.

There's silence before he questions again. "Well then where is she?"

"Dead.", I reply with no emotion.

"What do you mean?", he asks his eyes connecting with mine through the review mirror.

I look straight into his eyes as I tell him.

"She's the one burning in the sea of fire I created for her. Divine is the one in the car."

The memories of the past four hours replay freshly in my head as I sit in the comfy seat, flying back home with only Astaroth. Not returning with Divine. My heart aches with so much and sorrow. It's hard to believe that she betrayed me. It's hard to believe that Lee betrayed and its fucking hard to believe that the both of them were going behind my back while one gave me fake loyalty and the other fake 'I love you's'.

My anger peeks up again when it finally settles in.

I was being played the whole time.

I clench my hands into fists, my breathing becoming uneven as my veins course with raging fiery sea. Astaroth has been quite throughout our journey back. He has yet to ask a question and see that his curiosity is eating at him but he knows his boundaries, something that I'm thankful for at the moment. He will soon find out the truth when get my hands on that son of a bitch.

We finally arrive at the house and I'm determined as ever to get my hands on Lee. I storm up to the front door, Astaroth trailing right behind, asking me to calm down but he's pleas fall upon deaf ears. I bust the door open making my presence known while the others pile up by the front entrance while I'm standing, my eyes looking for one person.

"What's all that for? Why don't you walk in like a normal person?", Allison questions with an annoyed look on her face. I send her daggers but she just rolls her eyes and looks at me expectantly as if I'm going to answer her.
