Michael woke up the next day, unusually excited. Michael jumped out of the bed, grinning. Michael did his daily routine and headed outside for a walk. Michael walked faster than his normal pace. He stopped abruptly to see Yolanda and another girl. "Yolanda!" Michael called out. Yolanda turned around and saw Michael, wearing a goofy smile on her face. Yolanda grabbed the girl's hand and they walked together to meet Michael. "Yolanda what's with that smile?" Michael asked curious about her smile. The girl looked at Michael and Michael looked at her. Michael then studied her hair. 'Wait, don't I know a girl with long, curly hair?' Michael thought. The girl studied Michael. 'It seems like I have met this guy before' She said in her mind. "Guys... you have seen each other before, you guys used to know each other well!" Yolanda said still grinning.
All of a sudden, Michael knew who the girl that's standing in front of him. "Oh my gosh, Ashley?" Michael said not believing that his best friend and secret love has met his eyes again. The girl recognizes Michael as well suddenly. "Oh my gosh Michael!" She says pulling him into a tight embrace. They let go. "I can't believe it's you. I thought we were never going to meet ever again. I've missed you so much! So Michael, what brought you to California?" Ashley said happy that they are reunited. "Yeah I did too. I've missed you more Ashley! I moved to California because of Motown" Michael replied happy as Ashley. Ashley looked at Michael in shock. "You're in Motown?! The Motown?! Oh my...congratulations! I knew you were going to get in there someday!" Ashley said hugging him again. "Thank you so much!" Michael said hugging Ashley back. 'Ah it feels so good to have Ashley again, with her warm scent and beautiful features that make Ashley the way she is. Perfect' Michael thought to himself. Ashley let go of the hug and said "Well it was nice meeting you again Michael! I gotta go, say we hang out. At my house, tomorrow if that's fine?" Michael gave her a warm smile and said "It's fine with me. Let's say tomorrow at two? By the way what's your phone number and address?" "Two is great! And here's my phone numbers and address-" Ashley pulled out a piece of paper from the bag she was carrying and wrote her number and address on it and gave it to Michael," Call me ok?" She said to Michael. "I will, trust me" Michael said. Ashley gave a smile that melted Michael like the witch from The Wizard Of Oz and walked away. Yolanda stood there grinning. Michael looked at Yolanda and said chuckling "Can you quit it with that grin of yours?" "I can't! I reunited two people who were best friends!" Yolanda said still grinning. "I guess that's a good enough reason" Michael said smiling. "Alright I gotta go too. Bye Michael!" Yolanda said giving Michael a quick hug and then walking away. Michael walked back home happy. 'Me and Ashley finally reunited. Now that we are both older, she might have feelings for me and we can date! Oh how I wanted the day to come' He thought as he went to tell his brothers and Joe that he reunited with Ashley and ask Joe if he can come over to her house tomorrow.
