Wake Up...

"Who do you think it is?" The detective asked. "Ashley's boyfriend, Grant", Michael answered bitterly. The detective scribbled in his pad and then said," Thank you for your time". "No problem sir", Michael said as the detective walked away to the police.

Michael went home to announce what happened. The family rushed to get to the hospital to visit Ashley. Katherine signed in at the front desk. "Hi, we're here to visit Ashley Davis. What room is she in?" Katherine asked the woman at the front desk. "Ashley Davis, room 5B", she replied and gave Joseph and Katherine visiting passes. All of them scurried to the elevator. Joseph pushed the button to the 5th floor. Once it was the 5th floor, the Jackson family got off and headed towards the room. They found her room and went inside. They saw Ashley still unconscious laying on the bed. "Hi Ashley, it's your best friend Michael", Michael responded sadly. Everyone greeted Ashley. "Let's pray that Ashley wakes up", Marlon said. "Yeah", Michael said. They all prayed for Ashley to wake up. After they finished praying, Michael asked if he could have a moment with Ashley. The rest of the Jackson family nodded and went out of the room.

Michael went by her side. " Ashley, please wake up. I need you here with me on this Earth. I love you so much, I cannot be without you. I can't live without you. I will die if you die. You are my other half. There's no way I can live if you're not living too. I need your heart, mind, and soul. I need you. You're the sun that lights up my world. You're the moon that glows in my heart. You're the star that shines so bright through my dark nights. You're my world, my life, my everything. You are the reason why I breathe and continue my life. Please come back and realize that you should be my lady for all time. That we will have this undying love for each other and grow old together. Please come back to me. I love you", Michael spoke from deep within his heart.

He stared at Ashley and sighed. 'She's so beautiful when she sleeps', Michael thought. Suddenly, he heard Ashley groan. "Ashley?", Michael said shocked. Ashley opened her eyes to Michael. "Michael...", She said smiling. Michael perked up with joy and went outside to announce that Ashley's awake. Everybody rushed inside to greet the conscious Ashley. "I'm so glad you're ok sweetheart", Katherine said happy to see Ashley awake once more. "Yeah, I'm glad I'm still alive!", she said happily. The doctor came in and looked surprised to see Ashley awake. "Oh well this is wonderful news! She's awake and will be out of here very soon, she just has to get some rest", the doctor announced. "Yay!", Janet cheered. "Yes, yay indeed", the doctor said exiting out the room. So the Jackson family decided to stay and talk with Ashley until visiting hours ceased.
