Chapter 17

Arjun's pov :

Tomorrow is Rithvik's 8th birthday. Today I'm busy checking all the arrangements for tomorrow's night birthday party. I don't want a single mistake at tomorrow's party.

Invitations are already sent to everyone, but for Aaradhya and her friends, I thought to go personally and invite them.

I started towards there house. After some time I spotted Aaru standing on the roadside talking to someone.

What is she doing here? Whatever.  I can meet her here and even take her to her house.

I stopped my car and got down. But she is not just standing there, she is drinking tea that too with that new doctor guy. Rahul's friend. What is his name? Something like Ashok. No no Akash. No no. whatever! Why should I remember his name? Here the main point is, what is he doing here with Aaru? Do they know each other?  They might know each other, as he is Rahul's friend.

I don't like this new guy. How dare he? First In engagement, he stared at Aaru as he owns her. Now he is drinking tea with her. What is with this guy?

I started moving towards them, but they completed their tea and seated themselves in the car. He started the car. I too get in my car and started driving.

He dropped Aaru at her house and left from there.

I stopped my car and went to her house.

She is opening the door with keys, seems like her friends are not there in the house.

"Hi, Aaradhya. " I said.

She got scared by my sudden appearance.

"H...i Arjun. " She said.

"What are you doing here? " She questioned.

"Are you not happy seeing me?" I asked with a dull face.

"No. No. Nothing like that. I just asked casually. " She explained.

"It's ok. I'm just kidding. " I said with a smile.

"Come inside. Sit. I will bring water." She said.

I followed her and got seated on the sofa. She brought water.

"Aaru tomorrow is Ritu's birthday. I came to invite you, Mahira and Purvi to tomorrow night party. Tomorrow is Sunday, so no excuses." I said giving her invitation cards.

"Ok. We will be there." She said with a smile.

"How was your day? " I asked.

"Good. We started marriage shopping." She said.

Oh. So that's why that idiot got a chance to get tagged with you.

"What! " She asked looking confused.

"Nothing." I said.

"Good. Did the shopping went well? " I asked.

"Yes. It went well. " She said with a smile.

"Where are Mahira and Purvi? " I asked.

"They are busy in a dance academy. They are taking important classes for the coming dance festival. " She said.

"Oh. Ok."

"I will take my leave. " I said.

"No. Wait. I will bring some snacks. Today is the first time you came to our house, so you can't leave like this." She said in a strict tone.

"Ok." I said.

Inside I'm dancing with happiness, as I can spend more time with her.

She went into the kitchen and started preparing something.

After some time I too went into the kitchen,  as I'm getting bored.

We talked about random things.

She prepared sandwiches and juice.

We had them. Sandwiches are so tasty, so my angry bird can cook well.

"Sandwiches are so good Aaru." I said.

"Thank you. " She said with a smile.

We talked for some more times.

I got a call from ma to come home.

"Ok. Aaru. I have to go. Bye. Take care." I said with a smile.

"Bye. " She said.

She sent me off to my car. I started home with a smile.
