"You don't need to prove anything" One of them said in a deadpan which confused me. I swallowed the knot in my throat and looked for something to say.
"B-but why did you accuse me-."
"We saw you cheating and there's nothing to prove, your not a good singer and you won't ever make it to our level so there's no point in trying." I looked at him astonished but he didn't stop there. "I'm sorry but it's the truth and you should stop while your at it unless you want to be covered in more embarrassment."
"Now if you'll excuse us we have a tight schedule and need to attend our practice class." A guy in a deep rough voice said. That was the first time I heard him speak and his voice was deeper than the ocean itself.
"N-no you can't just accuse me for no reason and then take no responsibility behind it." I wanted it to sound like I was angry but it came out in stutters and no louder than a whisper.
It was no use though. The arrogant, handsome looking guys just looked at me like I was some mad person and then left the room quickly. Leaving an enraged me behind.
All I could see was red but before I could scream out my anger to particularly no one, I fell on my knees and cried my eyes out.
Why didn't you stop them? Why aren't you confident enough to speak your mind! And most importantly why did you stutter!?
I scolded myself again and again. After having a silent crying moment to myself I stood up from the floor and proceeded to leave because of a phone call made by my manager, asking where I was.
"Have you finished your meeting with BTS?" The receptionist asked giving me a wink. I rolled my eyes at her, nodded and left from there in a heartbeat but then only again to be stopped by a waitress.
"You lucky think getting up and personal with the BTS members." She smirked at me while blocking the doorway. Did she bang her head against the wall or something because I'm telling you this girl is nuts.
What's wrong with these people? I would have left the cafe as soon as a BTS member stepped foot in it but unfortunately I had no choice but to be in the same room as them.
I dodged my way around the creepy woman and managed to leave without anyone else stopping me and asking weird questions.
"Are you Miss Highlight?" A random chauffeur standing in the middle of the path scared me by popping his face out of nowhere. "YES!" I said clearly being frustrated at losing my temper all of a sudden but that was then closely followed by a hand up on my mouth.
What's wrong with me!? I'm not supposed to reveal my identity out in public. Who knows what could happen.
"Oh nice to meet you Highlight" he straightened his blazer and introduced himself excluding the fact he's my rival's private chauffeur. As if things couldn't get any worse he started to randomly talk about his life story.
Like I didn't even ask.
But things escalated rather quickly from there to him finally telling me who he really was. He rambled on and on about him being in service for the bangtan members for over twenty years and how popular they've gotten.
My mind swirled around and around with the random -not needed- information. I began to get really sweaty for some reason and a throbbing headache conquered my brain.
He carried on with his one sided conversation while going into even more deeper depths and detail. But then I just snapped.
"Can you stop talking about them!?" I screamed in his face. He jumped at the sudden shock and backed away looking at me scared.
"Ehem." Someone coughed behind me making me jump in shock as well. "Can we get past please?" I turned around at the familiar deep voices, in less than a second, and rolled my eyes at them.
"No, why should I let you past?" I finally spoke the words that had to be spoken. I needed to stand my ground and show them that I'm not scared. "Pardon?" He leaned forward with his eyes darkened.
"Why should I let past a couple of arrogant idiots like you guys, trample all over me and my life?" I folded my arms and didn't move an inch. They raised an eyebrow each at me and looked me from top to bottom.
"I'm sorry but if your still going to be a bitch about what happened earlier and hold a grudge against us then your clearly wasting your time." He bumped into my shoulder and the others followed behind and got in the car.
"Aaarghh!" I screamed out in frustration. Clearly out of my senses, I grabbed a nearby small rock and aimed it at the car that now started its engine and traveled a few meters. I wanted it to be a clear miss but me being me, suddenly had a great aim and landed slam in the middle of the window.
I gasped out loud. Wow. I just earned myself a good lecture, heavy fine to pay for the damage and of course a ruin of my public figure. There was no way the public missed something big like this...
