Now that Taehyung learnt that he liked Jungkook, he finally decided to let the other know about his feelings. This time he took the initiative to approach the other first. He had already accepted Jungkook's feelings in his heart, so rather then giving just a simple 'YES' as an answer to the other, he planned to propose the other by asking out to be his boyfriend.
So, he started his preparations for his small, but big event. He didn't wanted his proposal to be too fancy or too boring, he just wanted it to be a little special so he could forever keep it in his memories. Therefore, he decided to plan a small homey & cozy dinner at his his place in between his confined home. Because, it was here where he felt most comfortable, and thought he could propose to Jungkook more confidently.
While, Taehyung was planning his small event, Jungkook was totally kept in the unknown.

After a week when Taehyung was finished preparing everything, he decided to call Jungkook one morning and invited him over for dinner to his place that evening. Till now, Jungkook was still oblivious to everything the other had planned.
That evening when Jungkook went over to Taehyung's place he was surprised to see a small setting of candle light dinner placed on the dining table. He didn't know what the occasion was about so he asked the other if something special was happening. But, Taehyung only shrugged it off by telling him it was just something he wanted to do for a while now. Jungkook didn't question him more and just followed the other into his appartment.
Taehyung was very nervous that day, he was afraid he would mess up something while proposing but, once he saw Jungkook he tried his best to conceal it by showing his boxy smile. He was breathing in relief when he saw that Jungkook didn't notice his nervousness.
Once they had finished their meal, Taehyung decided it was about time he confessed his feelings and start with the proposal. So, he tried his best to keep himself together while maintaining eye contact with Jungkook and let his heart and feelings do the main work.
