"I wanted to tell you something Jungkook, that's the reason why I called you over today." Taehyung carefully spoke.
His nervousness was slowly creeping up to him but he tried his best to overcome it by keeping his eyes on Jungkook."Go on, I'm listening." Jungkook replied him with a smile. But, in the inside he too started feeling weird, but did not show it.
"Ever since we met for the first time I didn't expected us to be this close. I had just started to learn more about you, getting to know you better but even in this small span of time I didn't realise when my heart started to grow feelings for you." Taehyung spoke while watching Jungkook.
Hearing these words Jungkook's eyes lit up, and kept looking at Taehyung fondly. He didn't say a word, instead gave a nod in return to let the other know he was listening.
"The more I got to know you, the more I fell for you. Even though, it has only been a month I still have grown strong feelings for you.
I'm really happy and thankful that you gave me more than just a week's time worth to be your friend and didn't forced your feelings on me. You have been such an understanding friend and I'm really glad to have someone so amazing like you in my life."
Now, Jungkook's heart was racing super fast and he was really excited but somewhere he was getting nervous because Taehyung had only been describing him as a friend, which he was glad to hear but it wasn't something he wanted to be. He wanted to be more than that, but he didn't tell Taehyung this at the moment and kept listening with hopeful eyes.
"In the past month my feelings have been growing rapidly with a geometric rate which I didn't expect would have been possible. And, I'm really happy that it did so, because it made me realise I like you too, Jungkook. Not as a friend but more. And, I'm more than happy to tell you that I'm willing to give you a chance." Taehyung said this with a big smile plastered on his face.
Jungkook wasn't able to comprehend if what he heard was reality or just a part of his imagination. He was still not sure if he heard it correct, even though his heart was now beating rapidly in his chest he was still processing the other person's words.
