Team RWBY, minus Blake, plus Omni are in Beacon Academy's ballroom. Weiss and Yang are setting things up for the dance. A sad Ruby is sitting at a table. And Omni is sitting next to his girlfriend while listening to music through his headphones.
Omni(singing quietly): First things first. I'ma say all the words inside my head. I'm fired up and tired of the way that things have been, oh-ooh. The way that things have been, oh-ooh.
Omni pauses his music and puts his headphones around his neck when he sees Weiss walking over to his and Ruby's table.
Weiss slams to rectangles, that are very similar shades of white, on the table in front of Ruby and Omni. Ruby and Omni look up at the Ice Queen.
Weiss: I need you two to pick a tablecloth.
Ruby: Aren't they both the same?
Omni: I'm color deficient, so I can't help you.
Ruby: What's that mean?
Omni(sighs): It means I have trouble telling certain shades of colors apart. Seriously, how have you not picked up on this from the many times I asked if something was blue or purple?
Weiss: You two are no help. I don't even know why I asked.
Weiss walks off. Ruby goes back to being sad and Omni looks at her worriedly. Yang walks up behind them and slams a large speaker on the ground. Omni, startled by the noise, yelps and covers his wolf ears. Yang walks up to the table and sees Omni.
Yang: Oh! Sorry Omni.
Omni: It's okay.
Yang: You'd think by now you would have stopped reacting like that.
Omni: Well, it is very helpful when in a hostile environment.
Yang: I guess that's true.(turns to Ruby) So, Ruby, have you picked out a dress yet?
Ruby(turning her head to look at Yang): What's the point? Who cares about the dance if Blake isn't going?
Yang: Oh, don't worry. She's going. And besides, you wouldn't want to let down Omni.(looks over to Weiss) Weiss! I thought we agreed! No doilies!
Weiss walks to Yang and points at her.
Weiss: If I don't get doilies, you don't get fog machines.
The doors to the ballroom open and Sun and Neptune walk in.
Neptune: Your dance is gonna have fog machines?
Weiss walks up to meet Neptune.
Weiss: We were thinking about it.
Neptune: That's pretty cool.
Omni(to Ruby): Notice how Weiss likes the idea of fog machines only after Neptune says he likes the idea.
Weiss(glaring at Omni): Quiet you!
Omni laughs and Ruby giggles.
Sun: You guys all excited for dress up?
Ruby: Pfft, yeah right.
Yang: Laugh all you want. I'll be turning heads tomorrow night.
Omni: And besides, I'm sure you would look beautiful in a dress, my rose.
Ruby blushes.
Weiss: So what are you two wearing?
Sun(gesturing to himself): Uh, this.
