*this is not a chapter like with draco and stuff it just needs to be said, but i'm planning on posting a chapter tomorrow*

So as you've probably heard, obviously the BLM protests and the fight is not over. I feel like I need to talk about it more on the platforms I have, so I'm talking about it here. 

As much as this is a fight against Trump, it's a fight for basic human rights, and for people to not be treated worse just by the color of their skin. 

The video above is an hour-long video by Zoe Amira that has art and music from Black creators. 100% of the ad revenue will be going to various BLM organizations. You can just play the video as many times as you want to help.

Yes, you should sign petitions, but DO NOT donate to change.org because most of the money goes to the website and not the cause. That doesn't mean not to use change.org because you should sign petitions.

On blacklivesmatters.carrd.co there is a long list of things you can do. There are links to petitions, places to donate, and other resources.

I complied a small list of easy things you can do. I'm not saying signing petitions is hard because I literally timed myself and it took less than 30 seconds for me to sign a petition, but these are numbers you can text.

This wasn't very long, and it wasn't what I normally write about, obviously, but I felt like I needed to speak up about this, even if only less than 300 people were going to see it, because change hasn't come yet. We just have to keep fighting, and not let anyone silence this movement. 

**UPDATE: on May 29, Derek Chauvin was arrested and charged with second degree murder, third degree murder and manslaughter. The other three officers were charged with aiding and abetting second degree murder, aiding and abetting third degree murder and aiding and abetting manslaughter. But the fight for justice continues, as does the need to keep a spotlight on Minneapolis. Please help make sure there is a fair judicial process that results in justice and in the conviction of George Floyd's murderers.
