"Hey, I don't know why you're getting so worked up over this, it was just a date." I looked at him in shock. It was just a date. I scoffed a little and checked my watch. 8:07. Three hours after our date was supposed to happen, and there we were, fighting in the hallway.

"Yeah, you're right, you're totally 100 percent right, Draco." I leaned back, sarcasm filling my voice. He tried to protest, but I interrupted him, glancing at my watch again."It's already 10 after 8, I really gotta get back to my dorm."

"Curfew isn't for another few hours, let's go do something." He grabbed my hand. I gave a fake sad face.

"I can't, babe, I have a test tomorrow" I pulled my hand away and started to back up."I'm sorry that you made me wait three hours for a date that isn't even going to happen now because I have other things to do. I'm sorry that I want to further my education instead of rewarding you for forgetting about the date I planned. So, I'm sorry, I have to study."

As I walked away, I felt a little guilt for throwing that much sarcasm into my words, but I was hurt. He obviously didn't think that the date was a big deal, but I thought I was ready to tell him I loved him tonight. I walked back to the commons room in silence, ignoring the rest of the people in the room and going straight to my bed. I glanced over some key point for the test and went to bed, wondering if I was too harsh.

I glanced around Hogsmeade, half listening to Luna. I nodded every once in a while, to seem convincing. We stepped into The Three Broomsticks. I breathed in the scent of butterbeer as we found a table.

"...yeah, so my dad definitely found them under my bed." Luna finished and we laughed. I shook my head.

"Maybe you should have hid it in an actually good hiding place." We smiled and joked for about a half hour before getting up to find something else to do. As soon as we get outside, we're met by an obviously ticked off Draco standing in our path.

"I'm kind of tired, so I'll just go back by myself, you guys can hang out." Luna said, heading back in the direction of Hogwarts. I wanted to call out after her and tell her I would go with her but Draco started talking before I could.

"Where were you, I waited for forever." He sounded not super mad, but getting there. I shrugged.

"Luna asked if I wanted to hang out, and I figured it wasn't a big deal. I mean, it was just a date, right?" I started walking down the path, Draco close behind me. He fell silent after my words.

After passing a few stores he spoke up. "I'm sorry." I hummed in response, not looking in his direction. He grabbed my hand, causing me to stop and turn toward him. "I really am. I understand where you were coming from now. Just promise me not to abandon me again, it was miserable." He whined. I gave him a small smile.

"You started it." I pecked him on the lips and intertwined out fingers, dragging him down the streets to look at everything. He never missed a date again.

Sorry this is so short, and that it's a day late. I had a pretty chaotic weekend and my knee really hurts and I seriously don't want to go to practice tomorrow. But that's not your guys' problem, so I'm sorry. If anyone has requests, message me. I'm working on a part two to The Morning After, so look out for that. This is kinda long, so bye ig and sorry this sucks.
