Hiccups POV

Wow. Astrid is amazing! I have to ask her to prom at the end of the year. Ugh, why did I even try to date Merida. She's such a bossy boots and only wants me for herself. I'm pretty sure she doesn't like Astrid. "So, here's your locker. 735. Mine is 745 so that's on the other side of the hall, right behind you." I said to Astrid who immediately turned around. "Cool." She replied smiling. *bell rings for class* "I'll see you later." I said getting my books out and shutting my locker door. "Lunch?" Astrid asked me. "Yeah. See you at lunch." I answered walking away from her.

I was on my way to science when I got caught up by someone. "Hey baby." It was Merida, ugh! "Hey Mer." I said trying to get to class. "I saw you talking to someone?" She asked. "Yeah. Why do you care?" I said still trying to push past her. "Beacuse!" Merida shouted at me then changing her tone. "Because, Hiccup, she's the new girl. She doesn't deserve to be with you. Let her find her own friends." I was looking around to see which 'new' friends Astrid could make. Hey there's Snotlout and Tuff and Fishlegs and Ruff. "Yeah maybe she could be with Snotlout for a while." I said agreeing with Mer. *bell rings for class* "Sorry Mer, I have to get to class now I'll see you later." I told her pushing past her. "I'll catch you later!" Merida shouted.

Meridas POV

After Math class I head to the cafeteria. I can see the girl Hiccup was talking to this morning. I decided to walk up to her. "Hey there. You look lost." I 'pretended' to like her (as a friend). "Yeah. Can you please help me I'm a bit lost." She asked worried. "Sure. I'm Merida DunBroch, head of the cheerleading team." I said. "Thanks. I'm Astrid Hofferson and I might try out for cheerleading." The girl said with a sigh. "Here." I said handing her a tray. "What's this for?" Astrid asked. "Ha! It's for eating off. You grab a tray and line up for lunch. Then you put the food onto the tray and pay for it then find a seat and eat!" I explained to her. "Well I don't have any money and I think someone named Hiccup was supposed to meet me here." She said. "Well I can't seem to find hiccup and when I do I'll let you know." I said. "Ooh!!! Thank you! Thank you!!! Thank you!!!!!!" Astrid screamed in my ear. "Your welcome. In the mean time, do you want to make some new friends?" I asked devilishly. "Ooh yes please!" She screamed again.

I took her over to Snotlouts table. He is vice captain of the football team. Hiccup is captain. "Hey guys." I said. "Oh hey Merida." They said not looking up at me. "This is Astrid." I said pointing at her. "Hey Astrid!" They all chirped looking up at her and not me. "She needs some friends and I thought 'maybe you guys would make her feel welcome here'." I said. "Yeah sure." Said Fishlegs. "You guys make Astrid feel welcome here while I go and get some lunch. Bye." I said running away. Ugh! That was a lot of work! Now for Hiccup.

I saw him looking for someone (probably Astrid). "Hey Hiccup!" I chirped skipping over to him. "Someone seems happy." Hiccup said. "Well, you know me." I said happily. "So what did you do this time?" He asked. "Nothing. All I did was get your Astrid friend to sit with Snotlout and be friends with his gang so we can be happy together." I said holding his hands. "Ok. Just make sure she's happy and not sad." Hiccup said. "She's fine. Now I'm starving. Will you get me something to eat?" I asked fluttering my eyes. "Anything for you, my sweet." He said smiling and walking off. Now Hiccup will be mine! All mine!!!!!!!!!!!
