Chapter 5

Authors note: Hey guys! I'm sorry I haven't updated for a while I was away at the beach. This next update will hopefully be good. Now please enjoy it and the rest of my stories! :)

---- The next day at school---- (sorry I'm too lazy to make them wake up and eat and get dressed for school so I'm just gonna skip to school :s)

Astrids POV

It was lunch and a new student had arrived at the school. I'm pretty sure that it was a guy cause all the girls seemed to like him. I just got my lunch and was looking for Hiccup. I couldn't find him so he must've gone to the bathroom. I found a bench to sit at outside and I started eating. Then someone sat next to me. It was the new guy.

"Um? Can I help you?" I asked him. "No. Why?" He asked. "Cause you just sat next to me and I don't even know who you are." I told him. "Sorry but my name is Hans, of the southern isles. (A/N: not sure what his last name is or how to spell it. So just work with me guys.) "Well. Nice to meet you Hans. I'm Astrid Hofferson." I said feeling rather awkward. "I'm just gonna go." I said trying to get up but he grabbed my leg and pulled me back down. "Wait!" He shouted. "What?" I said rolling my eyes. "Do you wanna be my girlfriend?" He asked me. I just drank water than spat it out. "Sorry?" I asked. "Do you want to be my girlfriend?" He repeated himself.

"And why would I want to?"I asked trying to get away from him. "Because, Astrid, you are so pretty, amazing and so talented. You are so rare for someone like me to have." Hans said to me. "Uh, well... I'm just gonna go look for my boy-" I was cut off by Hans kissing me. I slapped him across the face. "Excuse me!" I shouted at him getting up. "What the fudging hell was that??!!!!" I immediately ran away crying. "Well, sor-ry!" Hans said clicking his fingers three times in front of his face and below his face.

Hiccups POV

The bell went for lunch but I had to go to the bathroom so I went. I came out looking for Astrid. She wasn't inside so she must've been outside. I saw her and I was about to call her name but then she was shouting at some random guy then he kissed her. Then she ran away crying. I went up to the guy.

"Fudge off! She is mine and mine only!" I shouted at him then punched him in that nose (that felt good). I ran after Astrid to see where she went. She went to our tree and was hugging her knees crying.

Astrids POV

The only place I could think of was the tree me and Hiccup always go to. I sat down balling my eyes out hugging my knees. Suddenly someone came and hugged me. I looked up carefully and saw Hiccup. (Horray for Hiccup!) I hugged him and cuddled up to him. He hugged me back and kissed my head. Hiccup gave me his jacket and I put it on cause I was only wearing a crop top and jeans and thong sandal shoes thingys. The bell went for next class but we stayed at the tree. I don't really care if I skip classes.

"Hey, are you ok?" Hiccup asked me ask everyone was gone. "No,... not really..." I sniffed. "What happened?" He asked me. "Well, I was waiting for you to come but you were taking forever so I got my food and sat down outside. *sniff* I was eating my food when "Prince Hans" showed up. He wouldn't leave me alone then he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said "no". But he still wouldn't go away. Then he kissed me and I ran off crying." I told hiccup trying not to cry. "Well I was looking for you and then I went outside and saw what happened and after you left I punched him in the nose and went after you." Said hiccup. "Really?" I asked. "Really." He said. "You punched him in the nose, for me?" I said feeling better. "Yup" said hiccup. "I love you." I said. "I love you too." Replied hiccup going in to kiss me. I kissed him first and then it was passionate.

I stopped to breathe. "Do you feel better?" He asked me. I nodded in response. "Do you wanna get ice cream?" Hiccup asked. I nodded again in response. He got up and helped me up. I was still wearing his jacket. We went up to the office to get let out early. All my make-up was running from when I was crying. We went to the ice cream shop and hiccup asked me what I wanted. "Can I get: Cookies and Cream?" I answered. "Sure and I'll get: triple chocolate." He said. Hiccup bought the ice cream in a cone and we shared it. He took me to the beach. I think it was sort of a date?

We talked and laughed and the sun was setting. "Hiccup?" I asked. "Mm?" Was his response. "Is this a date?" "I don't know? Do you want it to be a date, m'lady?" Hiccup asked. I love it when he calls me that. "Yeah. Our first date." I smiled and hugged hiccup. "You know Asty? You have been the best thing that happens to me." He said. "You too. :)" I replied. We were sitting on the sand looking at the sunset cuddled up.

"Hey hiccup?" "Mmh?" "You know what I love about you?" I said. "What's that?" He asked. "Your one of a kind. You listen to me. You care for me. You cuddle me. You kiss me. Your different which makes you special. :)" hiccup smiled at me. "And you Asty, make me laugh. You can be sporty one day and girly another. Your special and my one and only. I love you." He told me. He's so cute! "Um, Hiccup? Should we go home now?" I asked. "Yeah. It's 7:30pm." He said. "I still have your jacket you know?" I told him. "Oh yeah. I'd like that back some time, you know?" He chuckled. We walked him and it started to rain. We ran inside his house and had showers and went to bed.
