"You nervous?" Gene asked as he leaned over to whisper in Louise's ear while sitting on the counter she leaned back on.

"Not really, Dad pulled it off, shouldn't be hard." She shrugged as she watched outside the window.

On the sidewalk Linda entertained the crowd outside the store while Teddy stood on the top of a grey latter, his head underneath a large tarp covering the sign.

Hi, I'm Louise. Yes, the youngest and smartest Belcher kid. Almost two weeks ago I turned 18 and it's been rocky so far, but I like rocky. The most surprising part though was becoming the new owner of the family restaurant. My parents are moving away, meaning I get full ownership of the apartment too. Don't believe that this is who I am now. I'm going to go to college and I'm going to have a much better job than just working at a burger place, yes I love it but I'd be a hypocrite if I made fun of my dad for only being able to accomplish this in his life and then limiting my life to exactly that. Maybe I'll be a director, maybe a lawyer, maybe I'll have a whole chain of burger restaurants but I have always liked that our family alone has worked here BUT because Mom and Dad are moving, Gene has music college, and Tina has a kid… they won't always be here to help me so I've hired some "friend family" workers that include: Regular Sized Rudy, Andy and Ollie. Jessica was an honest option but I didn't wanna have to pay her and she was busting her ass to get into college. I've also hired germaphobe Jodi to make sure everything in the store is sanitary, if the restaurant is good enough for her to lick the floor, it's perfect.

"You're right, dad makes it look harder than it is." Gene stated.

"I can hear you." Bob stated annoyed and the kids remembered Bob was behind them on the other side of the counter.

"Oh, hello father." Louise smiled like an angel.

"Oh I knew. " Gene stated and turned around on the counter.

Bob sighed and rolled his eyes.

"Louise?" Andy and Ollie asked.

"Yes?" She replied standing up straight, with her hands folded over her lap.

"Are our aprons on upside down?" Andy asked.

"Yes, they are." She smiled.

"Thank you!" He answered and they took off each other's aprons.

"Are these people qualified?" Gene whispered

"Were we?" Louise asked and he shrugged.

The two heard sobbing and turned to Bob who blew his nose in a napkin.

"Dad?" Louise asked.

"Are you dying?" Gene added.

"No, I'm not." He said once he wiped off all his tears.

"Is mom?" Louise asked.

"Louise!" He scolded.

"Then why are you crying?" Gene asked.

"They are tears of pride if you must know."

"Like you have anything to be proud of." Louise scoffed, leaning on the counter.

"Louise." He scolded again.

"I'm a big kid now, you can't ground me, and this is my restaurant, you can't fire me." She explained.

"Yeah!" Gene shouted while pumping his fist in the air.

"Speaking of, only employees behind the counter." She said shooing him out of the way.

Bob sighed and rolled his eyes annoyed. He dropped the rag in his hands and walked in front of the counter. He pointed at Gene.
