"Only an hour and a half to go and then its home time! Woooo!" Emma said whilst walking down the stairs back down to work.
"Lucky! I've got another three hours to go!" Kirsten sighed.
"Ha! Unlucky!" Emma lightly punched Kirsten's arm as they continued walking.
Emma and Kirsten had been best friends since they were both four, they both managed to land a job in their local supermarket together after Emma reccommended her best friend for a job, but Emma only planned on being there for a short time although, Kirsten was hoping to do management at the store, but Emma couldn't wait to get out of there and get to university.
They made their way back into the store and finished what they were doing before their break.
As they continued their job in the store, Emma could feel time going slower and slower. "Roll on 7pm" she sighed as she glanced at her phone *6:00PM*, and made her way out to the back of the shop to get more products to put on the shelves.
When she was walking back out on to the shop floor she accidentally bumped into someone, dropping the products she had just collected to out out on the shelf.
"Oh shit.. sorry" she mumbled as she bent down to pick up the stuff she dropped.
"It's fine, my fault, here, I'll help you pick it up." He said and started to help her pick up the products.
"Uh thank you," she looked up and smiled at him, WOAH. "I haven't seen you here before!"
"Well I'm new here, just started a couple of weeks ago, what's your name?"
"Ohh I see, I'm Emma, what's your name?"
He shook her hand and introduced himself, "I'm Robert, Robert Downey Jr." He smiled at her.
"Well it's nice to meet you Robert" she returned the smile.
"You too, I guess I'll see you around? Got loads of work to do tonight!"
"Yeah I'm sure we will, well, I'll cya!" She grinned and turned to leave.
"See you later!" He shouted and walked away.
His eyes were so perfect, she thought to herself whilst continuing her work.
And that my friends, is how they met. Could it be the start of a blossoming friendship?
