Chapter One
Just that small gesture made me feel all tingly inside. I walked toward the coffee machine and made it the way I like it, black with just one sugar. I grabbed my coffee and headed back to the elevator, I passed by where me and Mr.Henderson were talking only to see him talking with another woman. He caught my gaze and I quickly looked away.
I hopped on the elevator and pressed the 14th floor. The door was about to close, only to be stopped by a hand. The elevator re-opened and in came a man I've never recognized before. He was blonde and had a neat buzz cut that he was surely pulling off. He had gorgeous blue eyes. And nice facial hair the he was also pulling off.
He smirked all of a sudden. "Your staring.". He faced me and leaned against the rail in the elevator. I blushed and bent my head down, my hair covering me cheeks. "Sorry." I muttered. He laughed, its not that funny. This is the second time this has happened to me today. Breathe Jess... breathe.
"It's Alright." He began. "Its not everyday you see a pretty girl, admiring your good looks." I scoffed. Not everyday? More like everyday. Cocky Bastard.
"Don't flatter yourself to much, there wasn't really much to look at." I retorted. Who am I kidding. Look at him. Gorgeous and he looks like someone familiar. Just can't put my mind to it. Hmm...
His eyes glowed with amusment. "I'm David Henderson, Derrick Henderson's brother." Hold up!!! David Henderson, brother of Derrick Henderson C.E.O of Henderson Designers Inc., sons of Darius and Michelle Henderson!!!! Man, they handed down some good genes.
"David Henderson...I didn't even know Derrick Henderson had a brother!" I exclaimed.
"I seem to get that alot". He stated . "No one pays attention to me as much as they do to my brother. He's the billion dollar CEO with a brother who just goes around doing charity for children".
"I rather pay attention to a man who does charity and helps the world then read magazines about a man and his business company".
"Nice to know that someone actually appreciates what I do". He replied gladly.
The elevator slowly came to a stop to where my room was. I turned around and put a hand out.
"Nice to meet you David". We shook hands and I quickly smiled and stepped out of the elevator.
As I was walking back to my hotel room, I bumped into sombody. As my body was about to descend towards the ground, someone swiftly wrapped their arms around my waist.
I was pulled into someone's embrace and I felt my breath knocked out of me. It wasn't until my senses came back to me, I looked up and found a man staring at me.
"Are you ok, precious?" I blushed under his gaze, just by the simple nickname he called me.
"I'm fine. Thank you." I took a step back and stood up straight holding my coffee in my other hand.
"No problem, my lady." He took my unoccupied hand and lifted it to his lips leavinge a chaste kiss on it. I blushed even more and gave him a shy smile.
"I-I should be going. Nice meeting you sir." I smiled and went on my way. But not before I heard his reply.
"Nice meeting you. But it won't be the last.". I quickly walked back to my room.
What the hell did he mean by that?

Hey guys! How was this chapter? It was kind of short but I hope it was good. Don't worry though next chapter is gonna.be even more interesting and somethings are about to happen that will probably haunt Jessica. Now I just gave you a clue.
