I got home from the bike ride just in time to start dinner. I didn't realize how much time passed but it was easy to see with the cold egg sitting on the counter that I forgot to eat earlier. I don't like to waste food so I decided to reheat and turn into a sandwich. Bread, egg, mayonnaise and ketchup of course. My fave! As I sat down eating my friend finally decided to text me.
"Hey! Sorry I've just woke up" she said.
I can't believe she was sleeping all this time! I feel like I've been awake forever... either that or still dreaming. I don't think she was as prepared as I was for this. Every single day revolved around planning. So far it didn't happen as planned but I was happy for the things that did happen to lead to it.
"I'll be over once I get ready" she messaged.
I think now would be a good time to sit down and just wait for her. I cleaned up my dishes so I could head to the living room. The radio was on as I walked in. I could barely hear it but I decided to just sit down instead of turning it up. Today was already busy enough so I decided I needed some rest. I partially wanted to take a nap but decided to just close my eyes and think. It was hard to believe that I had actually meet Namjoon earlier of all people! His perfect face will be forever embedded into my mind. You don't know how bad I wanted to tell my friend especially since I'm bad at keeping secrets.. but a promise is a promise.
"Knock knock" the door went.
I opened my eyes to see my friend standing over me. The door is always opened when I'm home and she just comes and goes as she pleases. I made a new rule where she had to at least knock first because otherwise I wouldn't even know she was here. I swear half the time she just comes for food and leaves! She doesn't live far from me so it's not a wonder that she came here so quickly.
"Are you ready for tonight?" She said.
I smiled. She was wearing a oversized hoodie and shorts along with some slides. Her normal fit actually! She doesn't ever get dressed up but even this outfit was fancy for her.
"I am.. but are you?" I laughed as I looked at her from head to toe.
She kicked me in the shin and walked into the kitchen. I rolled my eyes as I followed. As you can expect she went straight for the snack drawer.
"Let's get you into something better looking" I said.
She grabbed a bag of mini Oreos and lid on the floor eating them. I swear she's a 3 year old 99.9% of the time but I do enjoy her around otherwise. I stood there looking at her hoping she'd just get up... but no such luck.
"Get up" I said as I pulled her up into a sitting position.
She looked at me and lid back down. It's pointless even trying to fight with her. She's too headstrong.
"Alright fine" I said as I headed to the bathroom.
I wanted to fix my makeup and make sure I still looked decent for tonight. I thought maybe I should get a new outfit or whatever since namjoon already seen this one or maybe a different makeup look at least. I wiped my face clean and decided to start fresh. By now my friend had gotten up and walked behind me. The Oreo bag ruffled as she pulled out another. I tried many different styles again. Dark was too bold, reds didn't suit me.. I ended up going with a Smokey eye after finally acing a winged liner.
"You must be nervous" she said.
I didn't think she'd notice. Usually she isn't keen on my emotions. I threw the makeup wipe away and started to put the makeup back in its drawer.
"How'd you know?" I said.
She walked in front of me and pulled out a lipstick that clearly didn't match my look.
"You forgot lipstick" she said.
I took it from her but secretly picked out one that would match and slapped it on quickly as she walked away. I thought she noticed something was up... I guess not. I wanted to tell her about today so bad. She knew everything about me as I'm an open book to those I'm close to. However I've grew up with this girl but she's still a mystery to me. You honestly never know what she's going to do or say. I found her in my room when done. She was looking through my closet with shirts on the floor around her. I quickly picked them up as I walked up to her.
"How do you think this will look on me?" She said as she held up my favourite shirt.
Oh I guess she finally wants some fashion advice. I've been waiting on this day forever. Let's just say she always wore clothes that you'd wear to the gym or running.
"Yes it pairs good with these jeans" I say as I ran to my drawer to get them.
She stood there sizing the shirt up. I passed over the jeans.
"I like the shirt just not the jeans." As she pushed them away.
I ran back over to the drawer and grabbed a basic pair leggings. She took them and walked to the bathroom. I knew she'd wear them at least. It suits the shirt still so I won't complain too much. Maybe it's time I'd find a new outfit too I said to myself. I ended up picking the outfit I had placed second this morning on my concert wear list. I wanted to look extra special for tonight. I didn't expect to ever see Namjoon again but I wanted to look nice in general with all the people I could come in contact with at the concert. I quickly changed right there as I waited for my friend to come out. She was taking forever and even when finished she was still changing. I decided to just check on her. I walked up to the door and knocked.
"Hey are you okay?" I said.
She was silent for a bit but eventually opened the door. The outfit looked stunning on her. I've never seen her dressed so nice ever! In all the years I've known her this was the first time she's been dressed up.
"I feel uncomfortable but do I at least look nice" she said.
I nodded my head and turned her around so that she was looking towards the mirror. I wish she'd dress like this more often. She's a pretty girl I must say.
"You look gorgeous" I said to her.
She smiled and then turned to head downstairs. She's not the one to take compliments but the smile said enough. I don't think she realizes how nice she actually looks when she spends time getting ready. I eventually caught up with her near the door to head outside. She was putting on a pair of my shoes which let's just say didn't 100% go with her outfit but it's better then her slides. I slipped on my shoes also and then we headed out the door. I jumped into the passenger seat of the car and my friend in the drivers side. I rolled the window down as we pulled out of the driveway. I spent so much time getting ready again that it was like a different day all together outside. The wind had died down but the sun was behind a cloud at the time. It looked dark and gloomy but in reality it was warm. I wasn't 100% sure on time but I assumed it was close to 5pm or later. My friend and I had planned a quick trip to McDonald's before heading to the concert. I was nervous to eat as I didn't want to have to take a bathroom break during the concert but I knew if I didn't eat I'd be hungry. As we pulled up to McDonald's she ordered us 20 pack nuggets to share and apple juice each. It's what we always have when we come. The lady at the window even gave us extra sauce for free which was a bonus! As we ate I thought about how exciting tonight will be. Music is what I breathe and I'd be seeing all my favourite people in concert.
"Here's to the hope of them playing our fav song" she said as she held her drink to cheers.
I tinged my bottle of juice against hers and then all of a sudden I got a text. As soon as I read it I zoned out from the outside world.
It read "remember me? Meet me backstage after the concert".
Of course we all know who that was from. A wave of nervousness washed over my body as I read it. Of course I was excited too because I didn't expect him to ever message me again especially not to invite me backstage.
"How would that work?" I replied to him.
I'm sure he didn't need any attention drawn towards having a female backstage. I'm a fan of the group so I know what goes on when it's rumoured of them spending any time with anyone. Especially female. Also that wasn't the only thing I was worried about. This concert was originally planned around my friend and I having some bonding time. I couldn't just ditch her for Namjoon... or could I? This was once in a lifetime experience.
He messaged back "just walk up to any of the guards and show them this message. I'll let them know in advance".
That solved one problem but what about my friend. As I said she's been my friend forever and I would never be able to leave her. She's been through thick and thin being my rock in life's waves.
"I have my friend with me. I can't leave her" I said to him.
He told me to keep quiet about it all and of course I'll be keeping that promise until he tells me differently. I honestly don't know how we would go about it without her at least knowing. She spends most every day with me. I trust her if I bribe her to keep quiet that is. She needs motivation to do anything so I can't expect her to keep hush without getting something out of it.
"If you trust her bring her. If not we can meet tomorrow before my flight" he texted back.
I don't like having that power knowing my friend knew and that she could possibly tell the world for me. As I said I do trust her but she does get vengeful at times. I'll just have to keep her on my good side in the meantime. I can't miss out on chance to see him again. All of a sudden my friend tapped me on the shoulder.
"Hey. You alright? You zoned out for a bit." She said as she pulled up to the parking lot of the stadium.
I looked around to see the empty chicken nugget box. I guess we ate them but I don't remember doing so. I was so fixated on my phone. Should I tell her now I wondered or wait?
"I'm fine. Just texting another friend" I said.
She looked a little upset. I know she likes to have me all to herself. She can be a little selfish sometimes but I appreciate her so much.
"Hopefully not a boy" she said as she opened her door to get out.
I couldn't help but giggle a bit. It's like she magically knew what was up without asking me.
"It is a boy isn't it?" she said as she turned around and slapped me.
I blushed of course. I didn't know how to tell her just yet so I just grabbed my purse and headed towards the lineup without speaking. She followed. I think we were mesmerized by the whole thing as we didn't talk. The doors were already opened and the line was slowly moving. It was unbelievable how many people were outside waiting at this point still. Luckily it didn't matter what time we had arrived because we didn't buy floor tickets. No rush to get up front and personal as we had assigned seats waiting a little further from the stage. We just went with the flow as the line moved. Two girls behind us were actually trading cards of the members so they could get their favourite member from each other. Also a few people ahead of us were dancing to music we could barely hear. I wouldn't be able to tell you the song. It felt like forever went by as we slowly made our way to the front of the line. Lots of excited chatter of those also waiting on this special day. I have to say it was very overwhelming for me but it was nice to see all these people band together for one reason. To see bts that is. As we entered the building we had to go through security check. It was for the safety of the boys, myself and others so as annoying as it can be it's necessary. It's just one more step closer to get in. Once finished we made our way into the main area to find our seats. Lots of rows made it confusing as the area was already filled with people. The temperature was chilly I'll assume to make up for all the body heat once all the people are in. The place honestly smelt like popcorn which is weird because food wasn't allowed into this area. Eventually we found our spots and squeezed our way through to sit down.
"Who's the boy?" My friend said.
I looked around totally in shock of all the people already in the building. I was about to finally have my lifetime goal of seeing all the bts members in concert. What was more amazing was that Namjoon had actually invited me back stage after. I'd have to tell my friend about it eventually but I don't think here was the place.
"He's very special, you'll get to meet him later" I said as I looked back at her.
I don't think she wanted to take that answer. She wanted to know right here which is all that I could expect out of her.
"No really, who's the boy?" She said.
I cupped my hands around her ears making sure to talk as low as I could. I didn't want anyone around us to hear.
"You need to keep quiet but that boy managed to get us backstage after the concert" I said to her.
She pulled away and looked surprised. I mean of course she would.
"We're goin-" she said as I covered her mouth.
By now we had caught the attention of the girls behind us. I don't think they heard anything but we were causing a scene for sure.
"Shhh" I said "I told you to keep quiet. Don't ruin it for us!"
She nodded her head as she picked up her phone. At first I thought she was going to take some pictures or whatever but instead I looked to see her pull up her notes.
"So I'll get to see Jimin?" She wrote as she handed me the phone.
I could see the excitement in her eyes. She was happy before but this was a whole new level. She honestly loves him maybe a little too much. Her whole room is filled with his face from top to bottom. Every imaginable item she has. Honestly a little overboard but that's just who she is with everything.
"Oh I'm not sure of that but hopefully!" I typed and then handed it to her.
I think that was enough to settle her as she put her phone away to admire the building again. This place had two big screens which currently were playing old bts videos. What I thought was cool was the weird shaped stage. It was looked as if it was specifically designed for whatever show that was about to be put on. I didn't do much research into past concerts of this tour as I wanted everything to be new and surprising. Sadly for those looking to get up and close had no real chance of that. A barrier of a few feet from the stage was created. It looked very sturdy too but it was for everyone's protection. The lights slowly dimmed as things went quiet. You could still hear the chatter of those not paying attention but most were staring at the stage waiting for things to happen. Another wave of excitement came as I heard music starting. All around me army bombs were turning on. A sea of lights I like to call it. It's something you cannot imagine and you need to witness yourself in person one day to fully understand. The whole concert felt like it went by in a instance. One minute they were all on stage and then another they were gone. The whole time I kept thinking about what would happen after. Yes I enjoyed the concert but it didn't have nothing on what could be happening next. As the lights turned back on and the concert was over I got the same wave of excitement I got as the concert was starting. My friend was literally still crying from the last song as we made our way to the entrance again.
"You need to calm down" I said as I dragged her to the wall to help her get herself together.
I gave her a hug as she was still sobbing.
"We can't go with you like this" I said.
She was trying her hardest to control it but it kept coming. At that point I didn't know what to do so I just stood there fanning her face with my hand in hopes she'd settle down. Many different people passed as I waited. Those who were crying also and others were laughing. It's easy to see the impact those 7 boys have on everyone. Eventually she calmed down as I heard her take a few deep breaths.
"I'm ready" she said.
I looked around. The lines to get out we're getting more narrow which made it easier to see where we needed to go. I looked both ways and there was luckily a guard not to far from us. The only bad thing was that it was against the flow of the people leaving. We pushed our way through.
"Excuse me sir" I said.
He looked down on me. I half wondered for a second if he even knew English. I wasn't sure if he was hired as their workers who traveled with them or if they were supplied by the arena themselves.
"Yes, How may I help you?" He said.
I held up my phone to show him my message. He read through and then picked up his walkie-talkie. I didn't really understand what he said as such I couldn't even decipher if it was still English or not.
"Stay here" he said.
He was gone for a few minutes actually. I just stood there watching the last few people go by as I waited. I like to call these people the slowpokes. The ones who hang around hoping for something to happen. Usually for pickups or just got out of the bathroom. Either which way I was always one of them when it came to concerts. I wanted to enjoy ever last minute.
"Is he the guy?" my friend said.
I shook my head no. I couldn't help but laugh at her for saying that.
"Come this way" the guard said as he was walking towards us.
We followed him towards the back of the big hallway and in through a few doors before entering another smaller hallway. I wouldn't be able to retrace my steps to get back out if I was given a million dollars. I was actually getting tired chasing him but we finally came upon a door with lounge written on it.
"In here" he said as he opened the door for us.
I wasn't prepared for what was behind the door. As we were walking here I half forgot why I was walking. I was soo excited at this point but nervousness set in because I wasn't sure how my friend would react.
"Oh you're here" Namjoon said as he ran over to hug me. "We were just talking about you"
I looked over at my friend who was literally not blinking. Shock had set in as I could tell she could see Jimin who was not to far from us.
"Oh you must be her friend" Namjoon said as he hugged her too.
She didn't move. Not even a blink. She was like a statue which was totally opposite from how I thought she would react.
Namjoon stood back and looked at her. "Is she okay?"
I honestly didn't know if she was fine or not. She was probably just star struck and couldn't react. She's been obsessing over Jimin for years.
"Yeah she's fine" I said.
I looked around the room myself now. This room was filled with all different sitting arrangements. Couches, chairs, bean bags everywhere. People filled the room at every corner. I assumed they were a mixture of those that helped make the concert possible. There was also a long table laid out with food which took up the whole side of one wall. Out of the bts boys I could only see Jimin who was talking to someone not too far from us.
"She's just a real big fan of Himin" I said.
That's when namjoon linked arms with me and pulled me to move forward.
"Let's go get him for her" he said.
My friend was still stood still at this point. I didn't know wether to be concerned or not but I knew her actually meeting Jimin would be life changing. As we approached Jimin the person he was talking to got up and left. Namjoon spoke to him in Korean and because I know little to none in that language I couldn't understand. It was awkward just standing there but eventually Jimin looked to me.
"Hello" Jimin said as he reached for my hand to shake.
"Hello" I said back.
Jimin looked around me and pointed to my friend. Namjoon shook his head and then Jimin walked over to her. You could actually see the panic in her eyes but it slowly eased off as he began to speak to her. I couldn't hear anything being said as we were far away but I was hoping things had gone well. I could only imagine him speaking broken English to her and she staring at him in amazement.
"Will she be fine left alone?" Namjoon said.
I gave her one last look as I shrugged my shoulders. "Yes I guess"
I wasn't sure what his plan was but I mean anyone would be up to following him just because of who he is. We only took a few steps towards the food table. I didn't notice till I got there of who we were going to see. Namjoon tapped them on the shoulder and Hoseok turned around. He was pouring a drink and spilled a little on his shirt as he had turned so quickly. I felt bad so my first instinct was to grab a napkin but someone had beat me to it. I looked over to see Jin dabbing the napkin on Hoseok's shirt. I screamed and backed up into Namjoon. Jin literally came out of nowhere scaring both me and Hoseok who happened to spill more drink on his shirt and on the ground.
"It's all good" namjoon said as he hugged me from behind.
Jin passed the napkin he had to Hoseok as he laughed. I then decided to reach forward to grab a few napkins to pass them over to Jin. He bent down to wipe the ground as Hoseok finished wiping his shirt.
"This the girl?" Hoseok said.
I could feel Namjoon hug me tighter. I was kinda taken back by it. I could tell that he must have been talking about me for this to be asked. I was surprised of course.. Hopefully all good words were said.
"Yes" Namjoon said.
"Nice to meet you" Hoseok said as he reached to shake my hand.
I smiled and nodded my head. I don't know if it was rude of me or not but I just shook his hand and didn't say a word after. Namjoon started to talk in Korean to him to break the silence I had created. I didn't understand anything of what was being said so I looked down at Jin instead. By now Jin has finished cleaning the floor. He got up and threw the napkins away while trying to flag someone down. I assume it was to let them know of what happened. Luckily it was just water so it wouldn't stain but it did leave the carpet wet.
"Nice to meet you." he said as he turned around and also reached for my hand. "I'm worldwide handsome"
I shook his hand back. I don't know if he realized or not that I already knew lots about him. Especially his name. Maybe he was just trying to be sincere. I smiled anyways and nodded my head. Namjoon was too caught up in the conversation with Hoseok to save me this time.
"Nice to meet you too" I said. "It was nice seeing you guys on stage"
He shook his head. "Oh yes"
We both went silent after that. He joined in on the others conversation so I just sat there in thought. Half wondering about what has gone on so far and the other half wondering if my friend is still alive. Namjoon cut off my thoughts.
"Let's go find the rest" he said as he stopped hugging me and grabbed my hand instead.
I turned around as Namjoon pulled me the other way. Jin and Hoseok were waving goodbye. We walked across the lounge and in through another door. Yes yet another door.. I know this building is unbelievable. Behind the door was of course some more of the bts members.
Namjoon begin to speak "Meet my girl" he said.
This place seemed a little more private than the last. It was a small room with only a couch. Don't get me wrong the couch was big but it was different then the lounge which had many places to sit. The last three of the bts members were now looking at me as I turned to finish scanning the room. A big tv was on the wall showing what looked like a sports game of some type. I didn't pay too much attention on it so I wasn't for sure what they were playing. Wait did he just say what I thought he said? I turned to look at him who was smiling ear to ear. He clearly knew what he said and he said it proud. I wasn't expecting this at all especially since we only meet this morning. I looked back at the couch and jungkook was patting the empty couch space next to him.
"Let's go sit" Namjoon said.
He went and sat next to Jungkook and I followed. As I sat down Namjoon put his right arm around me. The loud noise of the game they were playing echoed the room. You could feel the vibration of the bass on the couch we were sitting.
"You know what, I think fate brought us here" Namjoon said as he held my left hand with his left hand.
I decided to cuddle my head on his shoulder. I was actually getting tired. At this moment I had everything I could only dream of. I was literally in Kim Namjoon's arms after already meeting the other members up close. It was a crazy day for sure! I didn't want it to end. Eventually the door opened and Jimin came in with my friend. There she is I thought to myself. I kinda forgot she was still here as I was caught up in Namjoon's cuddles. She walked over to me and sat on the ground near my feet while Jimin went and squeezed on the other side of the couch by Taehyung.
"So is this your mysterious boyfriend" my friend said as she lid her head on my knees.
I kicked her. I knew she'd find a way to ruin things. I didn't know what to say. I know today felt like forever but Namjoon and I literally meet this morning. I wouldn't technically call him a friend let alone a boyfriend.
"He's a friend" I said.
"Yeah boyfriend" Namjoon said instantly afterwards.
I was taken back by that. I didn't know if he knew what he meant by that but I wasn't going to try and correct him. If he wants to call himself my boyfriend he can. No one seemed phased by it expect me. The door opened yet again. A unknown man to me entered the room. He spoke to the guys in Korean and then they all slowly got up one by one to leave including that man. I wasn't sure what was going on but I assumed it was time to go.
"Are you coming?" Namjoon said.
"Coming where?" I said as I let go of his hand and pushed my friend from my legs so I could sit up properly.
"The hotel of course?" he said.
I looked up at my friend who now was standing. Her car was in the parking lot outside and I wouldn't want to leave her at this point. Technically this day was meant to be spent with her.. but this day was far from normal.
"My friend has her car. I'll have to go with her." I said.
"You sure?" he said
You could literally hear the disappointment in his voice but I didn't know how else to go about it. He must have really wanted me to go with him. He sat there kinda sad looking but eventually stood up and turned to help me up. I took his hand.
"Will you be needing someone to walk you two back to the car?" Namjoon said.
"No that's fine." My friend said. "I can take a hint. I'll go home without her!"
I was shocked by what my friend had said. As I've said before usually she's very selfish and wants everything about her. It's almost as if her heart grew while Jimin had her.
"You sure?" I said.
She shook her head.
"I'll be needing someone to show me to my car though. There's too many doors." She said as she laughed.
"Alright let's go" he said"
We both followed him out through the lounge which was now almost empty and in through another door. It lead to a bunch of stairs going down. Three flights later and in through another door and it just happened to be a garage of some type.
"You'll go with Steve" said Namjoon.
He took my friend by her sleeve and led her to a taxi. He left me standing at the entrance waiting while they both talked to Steve. I didn't follow because I knew I wouldn't have been any help. Maybe the taxi was to bring her to her house? Or maybe to drive her to her car. Who knows honestly. I'm just hoping she gets home safe. I looked around while I was waiting. There were two black, bulky, looking vans also in front of me blocking my view from anything else. The windows were darkly tinted so I couldn't see anything inside from the outside. The last one not to far from the taxi slowly slid the door open. Must have been automated doors by a push of a button. Pretty fancy if you ask me. Jungkook's face appeared.
"Come in" he said.
At first I didn't know if I should have moved forward but I saw Namjoon turn around and point to the van so I assumed that's what they wanted me to do. He looked back and continued to talk to Steve as I walked over to the van and crawled in the back to sit down. In front row was Yoongi and Jungkook. I couldn't see beyond them but I assumed it was just a driver. From inside you could see perfectly outside. The other side of the van that I couldn't see was filled with cars. I didn't know they had underground parking. Maybe it was just for the people who worked here. I put my seatbelt on as we all sat quiet for a few minutes until Namjoon finally decided to join me in the back seat.
"He's just going to drive her to her car" Namjoon said as he was putting his seatbelt on.
"Thank you"I said.
As the van pulled forward then I took out my phone. I wanted to send a quick message thanking my friend for today. I was happy to hear that she would safely make it to her car. I was very appreciative of what she did a few minutes ago and I'll have to make up for it at another time. The drive wasn't long as we were already in the city at this point. We pulled up to this fancy hotel with so many windows. I didn't even realize this place existed till now. The vans pulled up one after another again in front of the hotel and the doors opened. I was ushered to get out by Namjoon as we all met outside in a crowed area. The doors closed behind us and the vans pulled away. We were greeted by a few people in suits that matched the carpet. I'll assumed they worked for the hotel because of it.
"Follow him. I'll meet you there" Namjoon whispered as he went in another direction.
I was a little confused but I guess this was to make sure no one outside could see us together. I followed this guy with a name tagged Greg on his pocket.
"It must be nice working with guys like that" he said.
I smiled. I guess that was the plan and it worked.
"It's nice" I said as we entered the elevator.
Greg pushed the button to the 6th floor and then scanned a card. I've only seen someone do that once in my life and it was in another fancy hotel. In that hotel it lead to a restricted area for those with special cards so I bet this was the same. I felt the gentle vibration of the elevator come to an end. We finally reached the floor and the doors opened. I followed him to the room and he handed me a card.
"Thank you" I said.
I scanned the card and opened the door. I couldn't believe what was behind it. Everything looked unbelievably expensive. I closed the door and then looked around. The first thing I seen was actually a big chandelier in the middle of the room with a decent sized table underneath. Most of the walls were painted royal red. A small counter with stove and fridge behind it. To the left was a room which I could see into because the doors were opened. Inside was what looked like a queen sized bed or maybe even a king. The sheets were pure white. I looked to the right to see a little living area. A couch, a bunch of plants and a big screen tv. It was even bigger then the one at the arena in that private room. I decided to step into the room finally. By now I could see another room with its door opened. In the right corner of the tv. Two beds were seen in this one. I was unsure of sizing but looked bigger then twin. This must be a family suite, I thought to myself. By now I could hear the faint talking through the walls. Maybe that's them? I decided to take my shoes off and head to the couch. I sat down and grabbed the remote but I couldn't figure out how to turn the tv on. I decided to pull my phone out as I waited. Eventually the door opened and the boys filed in. Some went in the kitchen to spy out food while others went to the table to talk. Things were a little crazy and loud. Namjoon came straight to me and sat down. He put his arm around me again and kicked his legs up on the coffee table. Yes, that expensive looking coffee table.. wow! He grabbed the remote and turned the tv on with no struggle.
"How'd you do that?" I said.
"Turn the tv on you mean?" He said.
I shook my head and laughed. I couldn't figure it out but I guess that was my problem not his. The tv was turned to a sport channel. It's something I don't like watching that personally but he seemed to enjoy it so I didn't complain. By now I was falling asleep again. I gave in and leaned on him. All around I could hear voices in different directions. Things were crazy but I couldn't keep my eyes opened any longer. I eventually drifted off to sleep.
