chapter two i haven't paid it
DANIELLA walked down the hall heading to her locked to put all her books away so she can go eat lunch. Her best friend, Jessica, was already waiting for her at her locker swiping through her Instagram. "So fill me in, what happened yesterday?" Jessie asked.
Daniella shook her head, "it was the most embarrassing thing ever!" She spoke taking out her wallet that contained a few dollars to pay for the cheapest meal she could afford. "So I was walking Oso for the first time and he was fine the whole time!" The pair headed towards the cafeteria taking a right down a hall. "And I saw Benny so I was thinking to turn the other way but my dumbass decided that it'd be fine to walk pass them. Like he's never noticed me before, so why would he now, you know?"
Jessie slowly nodded, "Okay? Where are you going with this?"
"My shoe got untied and Oso got out of my grip and ran off right into Benny." Daniella explained to her, "Oso made him fall!" Jessie bursted out laughing picturing the whole scenario. "Stop laughing! It was the most awkwardest things ever, he wouldn't get off him! Oso was just licking his face off! And when I tried apologizing Benny just stood their quietly like he barely even spoke."
Jessie giggled, "did he get mad or something?"
"I don't think so," Daniella replied, "but please don't ever talk about it again. I want to forget about it. It was humiliating. It happened in public and in front of his friends as well."
The two girls arrived to the cafeteria and headed inside the crowded room full of different stereotypes in categorized sections tables. The circle tables were set up in a swirl. On the outside you have the loners, k-pop fans, weirdo, nerdy kids. After them are some of the minorities that don't have anything special there are the Latinos, Asians, Black, mixed, etc. Pretty much are the average kids in school. That's where Jessie and Daniella sat. After them are the musicians, theatre kids, drama club, anything related to performing arts. Then are the jocks mixed with the heartthrobs and troublemakers. That's where Benny and his friends always sit. And last but not least are what you would call popular kids. The ones who come from wealthy families and use daddy's money.
Daniella grabbed one of the red trays from the counter and stood in line looking at what food they were serving. "What would you like darling?" One of the cafeteria lady's asked Daniella.
"Can I just have the salad? Please?" Daniella asked
Jessie raised her eyebrow hearing what her friend asked for, "Get something else, I can pay for the rest if you don't have enough." Jessie offered.
