Groaning, I tried to pull myself out of bed.
An insistent knocking caused a gruesome headache and I clutched my skull.
Slowly making my way to the door I pulled it open and glared at whoever dared to disturb my Saturday.
“(Y/N)! Hi!” Kirishima’s cheerful voice made me groan and I banged my head against the door.
“What are you doing here?” I asked, looking past him and seeing just about everyone from class.
“We're hanging out today! Join us!” I sighed tiredly and Kirishima frowned.
“Is something wrong? You look really pale. Are you sick?” I squeezed my eyes shut.
“You could say that.”After passing out in the clearing, I awoke to Stain.
He had pushed me against a tree and roared in my face, screaming about Almight and my lack of reports.
Then he took out his knife, nicked my blood, and paralyzed me, making sure I couldn’t move as he carved bloody wings into my back.
When I looked at them in the mirror last night, I noticed the winged pattern, thankfully I was able to heal the marks into faint scars that could fade away with time.
I was grateful to Stain, if only because he could have carved anything, but went with wings.
“Fucking hurry up.” Katsuki’s rough voice broke through the mini crowd outside my house and I couldn’t stop the shiver that worked its way through my body.Katsuki comforted me yesterday, held me in his arms.
Last night as I cried myself to sleep, I desperately imagined the warmth of his body and the safety I felt in his arms.
“The fuck’s wrong with you?” Katsuki stared at me and I shook my head.
“Sick.”
“You were fine yesterday.”
“That’s the thing about illnesses you dipshit. It comes out of nowhere.” I growled and Katsuki snorted.
“Does this have to do with that boyfriend of yours?” Katsuki snarled out and glared at me, clearly showing his disapproval.“I have to fucking be here, you can suck it up.”
“Bakubro, maybe we should let her rest. She looks like she’s about to collapse.”Katsuki rolled his eyes, but he side-eyed me with…concern?
“Deku!” He screamed out and I saw a head of green scurry over.
“Yes Kacchan? Is (Y/N) coming?” He turned to me and gasped.‘Jeez. I guess I look pretty rough.’
“(Y/N)! You look like you’ve overused your quirk!” Deku cried out and reached for my arm.
I pulled it away quickly.
If anyone touched me right now I’d probably drain them.
“You can tell that? Wow, Midoriya! You’re really smart!”
Kirishima clapped Deku on the back. Katsuki snorted and glared at me.
“The fuck did you do? Over-fucking-train?” He asked and I paused, massaging my temples.
“Yes.” I said, leaning heavily against the door.
“Then I guess you should stay home and rest. We’re heading into town and it might be too much for you.” Kirishima said and smiled charmingly.
As much as I wanted to stay home I couldn’t.
Looking at Katsuki I bit my lip.
Stain demanded I give him a name.
