Hellenistic University

sa wakas nakarating na din sa school we spend almost 30 minutes because of the traffic syempre pilipinas ito hindi na siguro mawawala traffic dito

" bes, paano ba yan maghihiwalay na naman tayo bakit kase stem pa pinili mo yan tuloy hindi tayo mag kaklase"

"tigilan mo nga ako sa pag iinarte mo bes ang tagal mo na yang nirereklamo sa akin grade 12 na tayo"

itong babaeng toh! naku! hanggang ngayon hindi parin maka move on sa topic na yan ayaw ata niya ako hiwalayan gusto ako laging kasama. she took humss strand because she excell in that strand and her chosen course in the college is in that strand also, while me i took stem because i want to be a doctor, military doctor to be exact i know that it was a hard course and job but i want to help those people who need my help.

Habang nag lalakad kami ni faye sa hallway na kasalubong namin ang hindi namin gustong makita kahit kailan

" Bff till now stay strong huh?"

guess what ayaw talaga akong tantanan ng mga babaeng ito hanggang ngayon ba naman
sasagutin ko pa lang sana sila pero inunahan na ako ni faye

" yes stay strong kami bakit inggit ka girl?"

hindi talaga papatalo tong babaeng ito hindi ko na nga sana papatulan kase hahaba lang at sure ako walang gusto mag patalo

" Faye huwag mo na pansinin dahil ang mga papansen lalong mag papansen pag pinansin"

i was about to pull her so she would stop but i heard what rowena said that made me stay still

" are you saying that were being papansin?!" inis na sigaw naman ni lalyn

"you know what shane i really don't understand this school why did they accept someone like you! when they knew that you are a murderer bitch!"

napapikit na lang ako sa salitang binitiwan ni rowena murderer i smiled painfully as i remember the past, the past that i want to forget and the guilt that slowly coming back in my heart again

" Murderer? bakit may proweba ka ba na murderer ako!? bakit alam mo ba ang totoong nangyari? bakit nandoon ka ba sa eksena na yun? sige rowena patunayan mo kung totoong murderer nga ako, patunayan mo! or else you won't had a chance to wake up tomorrow"

" are you threatening me!?"

"no I just want to say that you should be careful to whatever accusations you were saying to me baka yan pa ipahamak mo! I just want to remind you na huwag kang basta basta mag bibitaw ng mga salitang walang katotohanan"

hinatak ko na paalis si faye doon ng tuluyan dahil kahit walang katotohanan ang mga pinag sasabi ni rowena sumisikip pa rin ang puso ko i feel suffocated all of a sudden

" bes are you ok? huwag mo na lang pakinggan sinasabi ni rowena ingetera lang talaga yun alam mo hindi talaga mawawala ang mga insecure dito sa mother earth"

pag papagaan niya ng loob ko nag papasalamat ako kase hindi niya ako kailanman hinusgahan she really a good friend of mine and I'm lucky to be her friend, I love her like a sister, she is the only family that I consider and have. funny how she became my friend hindi niya ako kailanman sinukuan kahit anong pag tataboy ang ginawa ko sa kaniya.

Flash back.....

Nakaupo ako sa swing dito sa play ground sa loob ng village kung saan ako nakatira i was 15 years old that time ng biglang umulan nag hanap akong ng pwedeng silungan nakita ko yung padulasan umakyat ako sa hagdan doon at nagulat ako ng may makita akong batang babae na nakasilong doon siguro na abutan din siya ng ulan but i notice how she cover her ears ng kumolog at kumidlat probably she was terrified to its sound i sit beside her i was shocked when she slowly putting down her hand on her ear and look at me

" hello" said by the young faye

nag dadalawang isip pa ako kung kakausapin ko rin ba siya o hindi na lang papansinin but i notice how she tried to start a conversation to me to distract her from the sounds coming from the kulog

"hello" said by the young me

" nagtataka ka siguro kung bakit ako nandito I was playing here"

I want to roll my eyes on her because obviously this is a play ground but I choose not to and just keep listening to her story.

" my nanny said that she will go back to our house because she suddenly had a stomach ache and I said that it's ok to go back to our house since she look like she will poop any minute hanggang sa na abutan na ako ng ulan at sumilong dito"

ah kaya pala I just keep listening to her until she introduced her self to me

" my name is Breena Faye Mendoza I'm 14 years old how about you what is your name?"

" my name is Diamond Shane Dela Rosa, 15 years of age"

" can we be friends?"

I just look at her and wondering why she want us to be friends when in fact she doesn't know me, when in fact I was just a stranger and once she knows me she will just stay away from me and regret being friends with me. I was about to say no when a girl with a maid clothes call her probably her nanny that she was talking about  a while ago.

" omg! sa wakas nandiyan na si nanny babye! shine bright like a diamond!"

after that day when she find where my house is she started clinging on me and pestering me

"shine bright like a diamond! labas ka diyan laro tayo! pleaseeeee!!!"

sigaw niya dito sa pintuan namin nakailang ring na din ng doorbell pero ayoko lumabas pero mapilit siya at ayaw talaga paawat I choose to face her.

"hello diamond"

she flashed her sweet smile in front of me

" faye ilang beses ko bang sasabihin na I don't want to be friends with you na mag sisisi ka lang bandang huli sa kagustuhan mong maging kaibigan ako! please just stay away from me!"

she look at me with her pained and teary eye and said

" i just want to be friends with you and i will never regret being friends with you so please stop pushing me away! please accept me to be friend with you i will stay beside you no matter what happened i will trust you and treat you as a sister"

as i look at her eyes with full of sincerity and determination my heart slowly melting by her words and her eye sa unang pag kakataon may isang taong gusto manatili sa tabi ko, sa unang pag kakataon may gustong makipag kaibigan sa akin, naramdaman ko ulit na hindi na ako muling mag iisa.
