Chapter 4: Trying to get her!

Y/n's POV

Lunch is finally here! I grab my tray of food and... Now I don't have a place to sit! Great!

I then hear a shout, "Y/N!"

It was none other than Lance

I turned to face where his voice was and saw Lance waving at me for me to go to him. Pidge and Hunk was with him.

'Oh what a relief!'

I walk over to them and sat next to Pidge

"So Y/n, how was 3rd period?" Hunk asked.

"Well," I start,"It was ok. Turns out my brother's girlfriend is my art teacher"

"Really? Who's your teacher and who's your brother?" Hunk asked

"My brother is Lotor and his girlfriend is Allura"

"LOTOR?!" Lance shouted in my ear causing me to cringe

"THE Lotor?! As in that very hot model?! Not only that but he's dating that hot teacher Ms. Allura?!" Lance says as his voice is still loud

"Yes, Lance, now get over it" Pidge said plainly

"How are you not surprised at this?!" Lance asked

"She told me it before. Well, only the part who her brother is and is a model" she said simply

"Well, did you meet anyone else in there?" Hunk asked changing the subject

"Well, I was partnered up with this boy named Keith Kogane and-" I was cut off by Lance yelling in my ear again

"KEITH?!"

"Can you stop doing that?!" Pidge scolded him as I rubbed my ear

"Continue Y/n" Pidge said

I cleared my throat, "As I was saying, I was partnered with Keith and at first I kinda got weird vibes from him. He looked intimating"

"Yeah, that's cause Keith is no bueno! He tends to get himself in fights mostly with James Griffin. Today he comes back from suspension. I hate that guy! He acts like he's all that and that he's tough!" Lance said as he crossed his arms and pouted

"Lance doesn't like Keith very much. I honestly don't know what's going on between the two of them. But they have this 'rivalry' going on" Hunk explained

"Well, yeah at first he seemed intimating, but while we were doing this project together, he started talking to me"

"What?! We're still talking about Keith right?! Keith barely talks to people at all and for him to say something first?! That's weird" Lance said

I continued, "He started asking where I'm from and why I was in that class. Small talk if you will. He didn't seem all that bad to me"

"I still don't trust that guy. He's getting to your head Y/n!" Lance said poking my forehead with his pointer finger

"I don't know. I don't think he seems like a bad guy than he looks. Maybe he's just misunderstood" I said

Lance then grabbed both my shoulders and brought his face close to mine

"Y/N! DON'T LET HIM MESS WITH YOUR HEAD! HE'S MANIPULATING YOU!" Lance yells as he shakes me violently as I'm just looking nervous

Then a chair came out of no where and hits Lance as he fell to the ground. The chair going with him. I turned around to the direction the chair came from and saw Pidge looking enraged. She has her arms in the air showing that she was the one that threw the chair.

'Where on earth did she get the chair from?'

She then spoke, "Lance! Quit it already you're scaring her! Maybe she's right! You're trying to make Keith look like the bad guy here when you hardly even know the guy!" she said with her hands on her hips

Lance then sat up, rubbed his head, then stood up and said, "I'm just protecting her!"

"Well you're doing a terrible job at it!" Pidge said bluntly

Lance just glares at Pidge and she does it back. Me and Hunk are just sitting there with our foreheads sweating

"Alright, let's just drop the subject of Keith ok?" Hunk said trying to end this

They both then sat down in unison, still glaring at eachother

Two seconds later we heard a female voice calling out Hunk's name

"HEY HUNK!"

I saw a girl run up to Hunk and gave him a hug.

She had long black curly hair, bright blue eyes, wore a fitting pink dress that's just above her knees with white sleeves, had on pink lipstick, pink rubber boots, and has beautiful dark skin that's slightly darker than Hunk.

'Oh my gosh she's fucking beautiful!'

"I've been looking all over for you cousin! I haven't seen you all day!" She said

"Oh Hey Camille! How's it going?" Hunk asked (A/n: I'm gonna add a random OC into the mix alright:))

"Doing great! Lance, Pidge! And... Who's this?" The girl said walking up to my face trying to examine me

"This is Y/n our new friend! She's new here and today's her first day here! Y/n, this is my cousin Camille" Hunk said with a smile

"Oh well then it's so nice to meet you!" She said taking my hand and shook it very hard

'Man this girl sure is hyper! How many Red Bulls did she take today?'

"You're very pretty! I can tell we're gonna get along very well! Here, let's exchange numbers!" She says as she wipped out her phone. She gave it to me and put my number in. I gave her phone back

"I'll text you later ok!" Camille said with a wink

"Right. Anyways, I got to go use the bathroom. I'll see you guys later" I said. I grabbed my tray, threw it away, grabbed my stuff, and walked out. Everyone said their goodbyes and waved at me and I waved back.

Time to freshen up!

Pidge's POV

"So Camille, did you know Pidge is madly in love with the new girl?" I spat out my food when he said that

"Oh yes I've noticed!" she said

"WHAT?!" I shouted surprised

"Come on hon, I've seen the way you look at her! She is pretty cute! You should totally shoot your shot!" She insisted

"What no no, we just met I can't ask her out now!"

"So you admit you do like her?" She added

'Got damn it! Fuck you all!'

I just tilted my head down, feeling my face heat up

"Don't worry Hon! Take as long as you need but better do it quick! With a girl like her she could get taken very easily!" She said.

"So, Camille, are you-"

"Not gonna happen McClain" Camille said cutting Lance off as she still smiled as Lance sulked. She knew a pick up line was coming and stopped him right before he continued. This is one of the reasons I like Camille

"Well, we have two minutes left for lunch, we gotta pack up now" she said checking the clock

"Right! Let's head on out!" Hunk said

We started heading out.

'I hate to admit it, but Camille has a point. If I don't get her soon someone else will! I got to impress Y/n somehow!'

Sorry this chapter felt rushed! I wanted to get back into it and realise a new chapter as soon as possible! I'll try and make the next one better!
