Chapter 15

Perries POV

Ok, today is the day. Today is the day that I finally ask Jade to be my girlfriend. I am extremely nervous and everything is already set up. Just a few more touches here and there, but we are basically ready. I plan on asking her at the end of school. I don't know why, but I'm just so nervous. What if she says no? What if she doesn't like me anymore? What if I'm not good enough? Ugh too many questions. I just need to stay focused and the answer to all of my questions will be at the end of the day.

I am currently heading to my class while looking for either Jesy, Leigh, or both. Luckily for me I found them, well one of them, but that's still good. "Jesy! Hey, so is everything in place? It's all ready?" I asked nervously. I don't even know why I'm so nervous. I guess I just hate the feeling of rejection and embarrassment. "Yes Perrie, everything is in place, no need to be so nervous." Jesy replied jokingly, pulling me out of my thoughts. "Ok good, I'll see you later then" I said and waved at her. I turned my head back to look at where in headed, as I turn my head I bump into someone. "Oh I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention, are you ok?" I say as I get up, "Yea I'm fine" I hear a familiar voice say, I look up and I just see Jade standing there blushing a little. "Oh h-hi Jade" I stuttered, why am I stuttering. "Hey Perrie, you should really pay attention to where you're going" she said and laughed a little. "Yea I'm sorry" I say and look at the floor, "I'll see you later then" I said and started walking to class, "Ok bye" I hear her say as she started to walk again.

Jades POV

Perrie has been acting a bit strange. She seems so nervous and I don't know why. As I'm walking to class I see Leigh, "Hey Leigh!" I call for her, "oh hey Jade what's up?" She says turning to face me, "Is it just me or is Perrie acting a bit weird?" I asked, "Umm I think it's just you" she replied, "Well I gotta get to class, cya" she said and left, "Ok bye" I said still confused on why Perrie was so nervous.

All day that was all I could think about. Why was Perrie so nervous? Is she scared about her parents? I'll have to ask her later.

When I got to lunch I noticed that Perrie wasn't there. Jesy and Leigh wasn't there either. It also looks like there a few people missing from lunch too. I didn't think much of it so I just sat at my usual table alone. Today has been so confusing.

Finally it's the end of the day and I can head home. I opened my locker to put my books away when a piece of paper fell. I picked it up to read 'Go to the music room'. I started to head to the music room and I start to see people in a line next to the wall. There was at least 10 people there. I walked closer to the music room and as I got closer I also got closer to the people with roses. The first one was a person I didn't recognize, "Hey Jade, my name is Normani and in new to this school. I hope that we can be friends" she said cheerfully and handed me the rose. I got about 3 more roses from some students and then I reached some familiar faces. "Hey Jade, look I am so sorry for the was I treated you. I don't know why I did all those things to you. I was just so caught up in being popular. I hope you can forgive me, but I understand if you don't" Camila said and handed me a rose, I gave her a small smile and took the rose from her. I walked toward a little more and got to the nest person. "Hi Jade, I want to say sorry. Sorry for treating you like trash. I know that I poured punch all over you at a party and tricked you. I want you to know that I am truly sorry. It's just that I was afraid. Afraid that Gigi would hurt me like she hurt you. I am genuinely sorry and I hope we can be friends." She said and gave me a small smile while handing me the rose. I kept walking forward and accepting the roses. I finally got to the last person and I held 11 roses in my hand.

I walked into the music room and saw rose petals on the floor and saw Jesy holding a sign. "Will you.." I read the sign out loud, as I read it Jesy moved to the right and behind her was Leigh, who was also holding a sign, "Be my.." I continued to read the sign as Leigh moved to the left. Behind Leigh I saw Perrie holding a sign and she bent down in the middle, "Girlfriend?" I read Perries sign and I was starting to tear up, "Jade Amelia Thirlwall, will you be my girlfriend?" She said and stood up with hopeful eyes.

I walked towards her until I was right in front of her. "Yes" I said with a wide smile, "Yes?" She repeated, "Yes" I said again and pulled her into a kiss. It was a soft and slow kiss. It was a really meaningful kiss. I heard people clapping and cheering. I pulled away from the kiss and almost immediately pulled her into a tight hug. "I love you" I said to her, "To the moon and back" she said and I can feel her smile. How did I get so lucky?

"Alright lovebirds, we gotta head home" Jesy says jokingly, "Way to ruin the moment Jes" Perrie says and laughs. "Wanna go home?" I asked, "Yea, let's go home shall we?" She said and held her hand out for me to take. I intertwined our hands and started to head out the door. I turned around and faced Jesy and Leigh, "Thank you guys. For this, I love you guys" I said and smiled warmly at them, "Anytime Poopey" Leigh said and smiled back. As we headed out of the music room Perrie thanked everyone for helping her and she just looked so cute. As we walked home I just couldn't stop thinking about how lucky I am. I have such great friends, and amazing girlfriend, and amazing parents. After all that bullying I've gone through, this definitely made up for it.

We got home and my parents were already home. "Mom, dad, I have to tell you something" I said as we walked to the living room. "What is it?" My mom asked, "Perrie and I are dating" I said and looked at them. I saw them start to smile widely, "Finally, you guys are together. I told you they would make a good couple" my dad says and looks at my mom while saying the last sentence. "I'm so happy for you guys" my mom said warmly and gave us a hug. "Please take care of our little Jade, Perrie" my mom said looking at Perrie, "I will, don't worry Norma" Perrie said with a wide smile and kissed my cheek. I blushed slightly and we went to my room. I just laid on my bed and stared at her.

I have never been this happy in my life. She makes me so happy. I truly love her.
