"Hey Y/N.." Kenma trailed, as he eyed your friends. Kenma didn't have a lot of confidence. The main reason you two were friends was because you did all the talking. He also found your presence comforting.
"Hey Kenma! Guys all see you later!" You said goodbye to your friends and joined Kenma as you walked him from school.
"No volleyball practice today?" You said teasingly. Kenma blushed unable to make eye contact with you. "No not today." He said simply. Kenma resisted the urge to take out his D.S.
"Oh okay." You said letting the silence settle between you two. Kenma wasn't the most talkative person, so you didn't go to overboard, as in overwhelming him.
"What are your plans for today?" Kenma asks peering up at you through his slouched posture. "Not sure actually. I've been falling behind in my grades, so I think I'm gonna study." You said bitterly.
"You've been failing?" Kenma asked surprised. He didn't think you were one to slack off. "I-I could help you. If you want."
"Really? If you didn't mind, I'd appreciate it. My mom was going to sign me up for tutoring but this works." You said happily. You'd rather study with your good friend, rather than some stranger.
"Okay." Kenma says as you two continue the walk. After you saw Kenma off because his house was before yours, you called your mom telling her of the news, since she would be working late.
"Yes. Kenma said he'd help me, there's no need." You said fidgeting with your coat. "Are you sure? You better not be trying to get out of it Y/N." Your mother said exhausted through the phone.
"I'm not, I swear." You said instantly. "Besides I want to graduate to you know."
"I know. I'm going to get off of here since my break is nearly over." Your mother says. "I'll see you when I get home."
You smiled. "Alright, love you bye." You walked in silence until you got home.
-time skip-
"Welcome." You said sarcastically as you let Kenma into your house. "Where's your mom?" Kenma asks following you up to your room.
"Work as usual." You replied flopping onto your bed. "This sucks. The studying part I mean!" You quickly corrected yourself. "It's not like I don't enjoy hanging with you."
Kenma sighed. "I get it. Now please for both of our same get to work." You opened your workbook and scanned the 30 pages that needed to be finished. "Alright."
-a couple minutes later-
"Kenma..." You tugged the boys shirt sleeve in a lame attempt to get him to listen. "I'm not giving you the answers Y/N." He snapped.
"Well I don't know how to do it." You replied slamming it shut. "Hey, I have an idea."
Kenma gave you a 'what the fuck we're supposed to be studying look', but you didn't care.
"Let's go out." You said more as a statement. "No." Kenma said easily.
"Awe why?" You asked stabbing your pencil at your workbook. "Because you called me here to study. So that's what we're going to do." Kenma said annoyed.
"Okay well... I'm not in the mood, therefor I can't get anything done." You said playing the innocent card.
Kenma sighed. He should've never agreed to this. "Y/N stop being so difficult."
"I'm not! You're just being a stuck up!"
"You're just irresponsible!"
"You're a priss!"
"And you can't do anything right!"
Kenma instantly shut his mouth. He didn't mean to come off rude but he did. He saw the way your face shifted from playfulness to anger.
"Alright." You said getting up and slamming your bedroom door behind you. "Women these days." Kenma whispered.
Kenma waited a good 30 minutes in your bedroom hoping for you to return, but much to his dismay you didn't.
He walked through the house looking for you but he couldn't find you anywhere. "I can't believe this is how I'm spending my Friday." Kenma sighs.
All of a sudden he looked through the window and saw feet dangling. His heart increased and adrenaline raced through him. Were you trying to kill your self? Over some measly comment he carelessly made?
He went upstairs to the spare room and opened the window. He saw that there was roof trim under it. The reason why he picked this room was because your hoodie you had previously been wearing was right underneath it.
Kenma tried not to look down as he scaled the roof and made it to the top. He spotted you sitting down, without a care in the world. He had to admit, you looked beautiful.
He nervously crawled across the top until he was next to you. He had a creeping fear that you may push him off so he sat a little ways away.
You eventually noticed the small boy. "You shouldn't be up here. You have a fear of heights." You commented.
Kenma shrugged. "I thought you were going to kill yourself or something."
"Oh."
You both sat in silence, until it got too much. "I'm sorry for saying the things I did." Kenma said picking at the roof top.
"Me too. I'm sorry I can't focus on anything. I'm also.." You desperately tried to hold back the tears that threatened to fall. "I'm also sorry for making you spend your Friday with me."
Kenma sat there in shock, and confusion. He wasn't sure how to comfort you, but he knew he had to do something.
He remembers what his mom does when his fathers upset. He leaned over and tugged your wrist so you faced him. He wasn't one for physical contact but it was you.
He pointed to his lips as if asking for consent. You were uncertain of what to say. Kenma seemed to take the hint because he deflated and looked away.
In the spur of the moment you grabbed his hand and cupped his cheek. He looked at you with wide eyes. No words exchanged.

"Y/N what are you-"
You pressed your lips to his and quickly pulled away after. "I-I'm sorry.. maybe I took it a different way, oh god.." You rambled embarrassed.
Kenma stares at you fondly as you panicked. For a second he thought you were going to fall off the roof.
"Don't worry Y/N I liked it." Kenma said blankly.
"You did?"
"Yeah, my parents do it all the time."
"Oh."
"Can we do it one more time?" He asks shyly crossing his legs.
You blushed. "Y-Yeah.."
I think I might make a yandere book... who should I do it about?😏
