"Well, I'm sorry! He didn't even introduced himself to me," I stopped for a moment and whispered, "because he was too busy flirting with you."

"What? I can't believe you think so low of him! He's not flirting, it's just that them kind of people are more intimate than your kind of people!"

Is she trying to defend them? Well, ouch.

I scoffed to hide my hurting ego, "Now what, are you saying my kind of people are idiots who let themselves get hurt over stupid things?? And that we can't be intimate like them? Why are you even comparing us to them? You know very well that our kind of people are very different from theirs! You can't just slap our face with it!"

Haneul let out an unbelievable face, "I can't believe you, Sehun. I-I..." Haneul seemed to be lost for words.

"Well, if... i-if you can't... if you can't accept me- m-my kind of people- why can't you just... just leave me alone. Leave us alone?," I stuttered so hard, it was so embarassing I wanna cry.

"Leave you alone? Are you serious now, Sehun? When I kept pushing you all back, you tried to do atleast something to break those icy walls of mine. And then suddenly, you're just going to cut it off?! Seriously!"

"What do you want me to tell you? 'Thank you for everything you just slapped straight on my face and thank you for just leaving me on the edge. Thank you for leaving me behind immediately when you saw Duck, Dork, Tan -or whatever his name is. Thank you, for hearing me out.' Is that what you want me to say?," I confronted to her finally.

She stayed silent. I think my speech was still processing to her.

"And do you know what you listened to from me? The most important thing? Do you know?," this is it. It's now or never.

I looked into his eyes but then I immediately looked away. Why? Because I saw something in his eyes.

His eyes.. They were so beautiful, and at first look, they're filled with joy. But when you look deeper, there's something more. It's like he was controlling himself from being... Himself. Something, or someone, must've been a barrier. Who could that be? [a/n EHEM ang manhid]

Why can't she look straight into my eyes? Why can't she be--

"I'm sorry, Sehun. I-I can't talk to you right now," she immediately went beside the tall guy Tan or whatever his name is and tugged his sleeve secretly. I can't help my eyes to roll inwardly, she was making it obvious. Too obvious that it actually hurts me. Obvious that she doesn't want me anymore to be seen with her. Obvious that she wants to go away from me now, at this exact moment. Obvious that she's already rejecting me when I did not even make my move yet. How obvious can a person be that it actually hurts?

How am I even a person? How am I labelled as person when I cannot even say my damn feelings straight to her? How can I even be called someone to love when all those fans of mine don't even know me, yet they are willing to live with me forever?

Forever. Something to be bitter about. I snickered.

That's what Haneul tweeted a few weeks ago in her personal account. I was curious with what it means because it has the word 'forever' and so I asked google translate.

She often said that. No forever. It's true. When I had all the time to confess to her, I wasted it. If forever was true, I could've been given the chance to admit it to her. But no.

Maybe it's a never.
