MINHEE DECIDED TO invite hana to come over to his house once again, so that they can study together for their upcoming exams—though clearly he just wanted an excuse to spend more time with her after her absence for the past couple of days.
thankfully his house and her's weren't that far from each other, so she could just walk instead of taking a public transport.
once she arrives, she rang the doorbell and waited for the boy to answer the door. it took him a few seconds before he finally revealed himself and invited her to come in.
" your parents aren't home? " she asked, while taking off her shoes before stepping inside the living room.
minhee shook his head. " they're on a business trip. again."
" you should come by to my house for dinner tonight considering you'll be alone until—"
" tomorrow."
" right." she nodded, turning back to face him with a brow raised. " what do you say? "
" nah, wouldn't want to burden your mother." he rejected politely. " plus mom had prepared a few stocks of ramen and frozen food inside the cabinet for me to eat. i'll be fine." minhee chuckled and ruffled her hair. " now let's study."
hana rolled her eyes. " fine."
the pair went towards his room upstairs together and minhee holds the door for the girl to enter his room.
" you know you actually have a pretty neat room." she giggled, while settling herself on his bed as she placed her tote bag on top of the floor.
" what? is it beyond your expectations? "
" honestly? yeah. last time i came here was when we were binging on disney+ together, so i couldn't really see what's going on inside your room." she then smiled. " pretty nice room kang minhee. A+ for that."
minhee chuckled, closing the door behind him. " thanks."
hana let out a loud groan before suddenly laying herself on his bed, both of her arms were spread all over the sheets as she closed her eyes —trying to drift herself away to sleep.
" are you seriously going to take a nap on my bed? " the boy crossed his arms, finding it unbelievable that the first thing that she decided to do once she stepped inside his room is to take a nap.
on his bed. unbelievable.
" hmm." she replied with a hum, too lazy to come up with an actual reply.
" hana we have to study."
" i'm sleepy~"
minhee sighed and let out yet another small chuckle. " fine." he moved closer to her, pushing her body aside slowly so that he can lay beside her on the bed. " scoot over."
" minhee you're going to hog the whole bed." she whined and scrunched her nose.
cute. he thought, finding her reaction adorable.
" it's my bed."
" but i want to take a nap."
" me too idiot." he laughed and ruffled her hair, " now scoot over and let me lay beside you so we can take a nap together."
hana groaned once again, but this time it was more in a playful manner. " fine." she began to sat back straight and scoot over to her left to give minhee some room.
once they were comfortable with each other's space, minhee tucked her with a blanket and ruffled her hair once again. " we're only taking a 15 minute nap, understand? then we'll go back to studying."
" okay—under one condition." she suddenly shot her eyes up and smirked. a mischievous smirk that he was all too familiar with. somehow made him wonder what she actually had in mind.
" what is it? "
" give me your hoodie." she pointed to the gray coloured hoodie that he was currently wearing.
the boy raised a brow and pointed towards the same hoodie that she mentioned. " this hoodie? now? "
" yes! "
" for what." he scoffed. " you could just buy one online or something." it was true. it wasn't like the hoodie that he's wearing was some kind of limited edition brand or anything. in fact, he actually managed to bought it at a thrift store nearby his house.
" but it's different." she pouted, trying to defend her request." this one is yours! "
" you're not making any sense." he let out a laugh. " but fine, as long as you'll shut up and go to sleep then i'll give you my hoodie."
he straightened his back so that he can unzip and take off the hoodie that he's wearing, before handing it her. thankfully he wore a t-shirt underneath so he doesn't have to change into a new set of fresh clothes.
hana took the piece of clothing from him and wore it instead afterwards. " this hoodie is mine! " she exclaimed happily with a smile before laying back on bed, sinking herself in between his pillows.
" eh? you're that happy huh? " minhee smirked, " guess i need to give you my hoodies more often from now on."
" i'll take that offer." she smiled once again, before closing back her eyes so that she can go to sleep. " now shut up and take a nap."
