I am an Idiot (Prompt 2)

WARNING: This story includes violence, so if that will make you uncomfortable, please do yourself and everyone else a favor, skip ahead to the next one.

Write a 250 word story in the military genre. It's about a hunter and should include a wooden stake. Also use the sentence 'You're an idiot.' 

"Your an Idiot." People tell me that all the time.

I know I am. I am a hunter named Jeffrey, but you can call me Jeff. I believe that everyone around me is a vampire, although I work for the marines, and my weapon of choice is a wooden stake, because of my beliefs.

"Your an Idiot." People tell me that all the time, today, it was my best friend, George.

You see, normally George is supportive, that's why we're friends, but today was different. I had just accused George of being a vampire, and since we were friends, it hurt him I guess. I have gotten accustomed to those three words flying off somebody's lips, but not from my best friend.

"Your an Idiot." People tell me that all day, all the time.

Me and George aren't friends anymore. Maybe I'm a vampire. I probably am. Should I stab myself with my stake before anyone else does? Before I hurt anyone else.

"I am an idiot." I tell myself that all the time.

I'm going to stab myself now. Maybe eat some garlic bread, before I cause harm to anyone else. Goodbye world, you did me well.

Goodbye George.

Goodbye Martha.

Goodbye World.

I hope nobody misses me, that would be a shame. I don't thing anyone will. I think they'll say "good riddance" because everyone seems to think that I am very annoying.
