Coffee Shop AU:Henry x Reader

Just know that while writing this- the entire time I was either blushing or dying of laughter-

The small cafe welcomed you with the jingle of a small bell hung over the door.

"Hey Jack- Go and welcome the customer-" You heard someone say from the back.

"No- I've got it-You two try not to burn the food- again..." Another man said, before stepping up to the counter.

And holy hell he was hot-
From his flawless salmon skin- to his hair, well maintained, you'd almost thought he'd got it done right before he stepped up to the counter. You wanted to run your hand through it- it looked so soft-

"-How can I help you today?" He slightly raised one of his eyebrows as he finished, a small smile appearing on his face.

You looked at the nametag on his pink vest: Henry M.

You looked at the menu. which was hanging above you.

He leaned forward slightly, resting his arms on the counter next to the register.

If you tilted your head down slightly you could get a decent view of his-

"SPORT- THE MUFFINS ARE BURNING-"

Henry smiled, holding up his pointer finger for a second, before turning and walking back towards the kitchen.

You weren't mad- it gave you more time to decide- and a nice view-

There was the sound of a pan hitting something- and something falling right after.

"Oh- well, there goes Old Sport..."

Henry wiped his hands on a towel as he walked back out, smiling as he returned to his spot at the register.

Having looked at the menu, you ordered a coffee, and a breakfast sandwich.

"Alright- your food'll be out in a minute."

You looked at him, confused because you hadn't paid yet. You held your credit card out to him.

Henry shook his head. "It's on the house."

You sat down, and a few minutes later, Henry walked out towards your table, setting down your sandwich and coffee, along with a napkin.

As he was walking away, you noticed a few numbers written on the napkin.
His phone number-

You blushed as you looked up. He smiled, winking at you before he walked into the kitchen.
