Alchemia Story: Adventure of Life Time

Chapter 1-Familiar village

I woke up in an unknown place that it seems kinda familiar to me or having a feeling that I belong here

"Where am I...."

The smell of  this place seems like old times had past

I carefully stood up from the ground where I was laying down before

I look around at my surroundings while having this feeling in my gut on why this place so familiar and feel like home to me

But I can't remember anything about this place at all

I found myself staring at some flowers on the ground before I could even look away from it

A bright light has mysteriously appeared in front of me, shining really brightly that I quickly cover my eyes from it

["What's going on "] I thought while shielding my eyes from the light

"Welcome my child"
A voice welcomed me and all of sudden,
the light become brighter in ver second

Before fading away, I remove my hands from my eyes

I was an old man standing in front of me
he smiling at me very warmly with soft  eyes that it seems he knows me

"I'm Edial"He introduces himself to me "I once been inspired to become a hero and set out for a journey of my own before becoming a Mayor of this village"

So he is the  mayor of this place

Edial smile turned into a frown
"People lives have slowly changed because of alchemy and magic to better or worst, but some didn't really change "

Before I could ask him some quest on why I was here or what does he mean by that

The light came back before fading again
but this time, the light revealed a sword floating in the mid-air

"Takes sword and go on a journey of a lifetime while you aren't been sealed yet"

{A journey to where?}

I thought before taking the sword out of the mid-air into my hands

"Now, you will become the change of Lizvit," Edial said
looking at me straight to the eyes

{"Lizvit?"}

Why does it seem so familiar to me
